I haven’t been recording it, but it is a capability of Cornychat.
I’d be concerned about more privacy minded folks not wanting to come if I did that, and I want everyone to feel welcome.
Wish you could come regularly; hope you can come sometime! I know some other people were interested but there were time conflicts. It’s my sincere hope to see other Bible studies pop up on Nostr!
Yeah. If someone’s bad day has them lashing out and bullying I mute them. Doesn’t mean they’re a horrible person all the time. I just have better things to do than get beat on while they figure it out.
Things are proceeding much more slowly than I expected, but I suppose that’s how the council works.
I’ve been meaning to have my pastor over for lunch again for an update, among other chatting.
How you deal with them is to actually confront their behavior. It’s shameful that there are cases in which this hasn’t been done.
Matthew 18:15-17 gives clear instructions on how to deal with a believer (or someone claiming to be one) who sins. There are far too many anecdotes of evil behavior being covered up to save face, or where monsters were even elevated to higher positions of power. None of this is the Way.
It’s up to us to take loving action, protecting the vulnerable and teaching all to live in righteousness.
I’m delighted that the calyx is actually bigger than the fruit 😂
It is a very small tomato, but its parents and cousins were still usually about two or three times this size.
From its (probably one or two) seeds I shall replant and grow the best little currant tomato the world has ever seen 💪
Is that Yellow Indian Woman bean in there? What’s the black and white swirly one?
Are you swarming them for a landrace or trying to keep them separate ish?
Try soaking the beans overnight in water with some baking soda in it. Don’t cook in the baking soda solution, drain first.
This is done to chickpeas to make falafel, etc. and makes them cook softer and faster.
Hmm, not sure. I always eyeballed it and I never learned officially, so even though such and such amount worked for me it may not be optimized. Probably best to do a search.
Ful / fool is a middle eastern dish I’ve heard of. Maybe a middle eastern cooking blog will say 🤔
You said it yourself… you don’t know one man who would
take time out of his day
The things you mention are vital. They are the essential parts of the relationship. But one of the several reasons poetry is something some people appreciate is that it indicates someone took time out of their day to focus on you.
To think about how you make them feel, and want to share that with you in a beautiful way.
They wanted to make something beautiful in your honor.
It’s a diamond necklace indeed.
You can’t build a relationship out of diamond necklaces; not all poets make good spouses. But a good spouse who does things like that as well is not something to be trivialized, but treasured and emulated.
If the poetry you share with your love can possibly be confused with AI romantic quotes, you’re doing it wrong.
The point is for it to be meaningful and relevant to your relationship.
If the appreciation for poetry isn’t there in either partner, for sure don’t try. But don’t dis the people who get it right; some really do.
It looks like the little sculptures that guy makes who stages pictures of little acorn people with real squirrels, birds, etc. in the forest
Wish I remembered his name
Btw I’m SO excited about this 😁
Are you going to have Jordanian specialty coffee or anything? Like the green one you were telling me about? (Is that the same thing as qishr?)
#ricewine update!
The one packed-full jar nearly overflowed again! So I took another sample.
It’s still undrinkably sweet, but slightly less so. The funky flavor is almost completely gone! It’s definitely tasting interesting. Fruity and nutty.
Very excited to see where this goes.
Still no clue what the other jar tastes like. It’s plateaued at about 4/5 full of liquid and I’m wondering if I should try to smush the rice down in it. Or transfer rice from the overproductive jar to the underproductive jar and see if things balance out.
Winemakers and other fermenters, please feel free to advise!

It’s awesome that you placed at your fair as an amateur!
I’m intrigued by the possibility of aging this, but it’s supposed to taste good enough fresh to even eat the rice that produced it as a dessert. It’s been interesting to read about.
