Look to denominations that actually practice, not just talk about, church discipline. The ones who depose leadership when they abuse their flock, and have mechanisms for reporting, investigating, and adjudicating such matters.

 This is one of the major reasons my church is probably going to leave its denomination.

 Things are proceeding much more slowly than I expected, but I suppose that’s how the council works.
