Know someone who speaks Korean? We’re looking for help localizing the app in to Korean. South Korea has the most users of any non-English speaking country and we’ve not done any localization for Korean at all. nostr:note1vannkylur4qxprnhx74fpam2aexxc6frv4ncf79nmkglsx8f040qzyz87l
One of my bosses is Korean . She speaks it fluently.
Why not use a DVM for this? Or directly translate content with the DeepL API?
We could do automatic translation but for software interfaces the automated stuff isn’t great. And as an open source project we welcome contributions from the community and for many people localization is a great easy way to contribute.
Literally 5 minutes after I hit send I thought “maybe it’s for the interface/navigation” That makes sense, for sure 👍 Question on that though: Text translations are cheap, but not free. Is this something users would pay for? Or how do you expect to navigate that?
Unfortunately, the one person I know has left Nostr. I’ll see if she’s willing anyway, it’s possible.
SK has highest DENSITY in computing PC Mobile than any other country literally 3 to 5 phones per person #hangul #translator
