Yeah. If someone’s bad day has them lashing out and bullying I mute them. Doesn’t mean they’re a horrible person all the time. I just have better things to do than get beat on while they figure it out.

Do the muted users persist in appearing in your push notifications?
I’ve turned all notifications off for Damus so I can’t tell. I can run an experiment turning them back on for a while and get back to you.

Ok! Today, I got notifications when people I muted reacted to notes I made or was tagged in. I didn’t get notifications with replies because I don’t believe any such person replied to one of my notes today. Still, being notified of their reactions is also not ideal.
I have proof today that I am no longer seeing the text of muted replies in notifications for Damus. Thank you for fixing the problem 🙏
