I'm pretty sure it's a Bible quote & it has a much broader application than just creating. Chaining yourself to an ideal has a very similar effect & is perhaps more limiting than comparing your idea to what already exists.

I feel like the creation process largely requires you to get out of your own way. To allow the inspiration to flow to & through you rather than force it out with sheer will.

The doubt over your own abilities & how the creation might be received doesn't help.

An ideal outcome is subjective & only reached by comparison with what you known & have experienced. 

One of the beautiful aspects of creating is enjoying the unexpected outcomes from the process. The more you let go of expectations, the easier the creation process becomes. 

Achieving an ideal outcome is near impossible but iteration of both the solution & your approach is important. Create then iterate. Judgement & comparison to your ideal before & during the creation process just gets in the way.

The good news is that the debt won't have to be paid back & Bitcoin price hasn't really compensated for the extra fiat currency deployed yet.

People still have time to save the value of their fiat exposure but not for long. 

 I'd be disappointed that he'd revealed himself. So much of the magic of Bitcoin is wrapped up in his disappearing. The idea of Satoshi is more important than the  reality that it was created by a fallable human.

Would I sell & rage quit? Nah - there is no alternative.

I just think it would be dumb to reveal yourself after so long. Spend some of your coins? Sure - no problems, but do it quietly without endangering yourself or risking the rest of your stack being captured.

I'm hoping to have enough to pickle some slices & also do a batch of sriracha.

I've got a feeling that I won't get too many fruit this year. I over winter my chillies, so I get my best harvests in years 2 & 3. 

 I'm in the subtropics so in summer our days don't get that much longer. I've a feeling that's why I don't get a lot of fruit that first year. The positive side is that i don't get frosts, so they just go dormant in winter.

I usually just use white vingar, salt & a few cloves if garlic to pickle them. The pickled jalepeno slices I've bought in the last fews years have a strange chemical taste to them. It's probably just some preservative but I really don't like it. Mexican food without jalapeño slices, just doesn't cut it.

The only thing I'd add is that it's probably not in your best interests to judge those who are loose with their word. Notice it & remember it but try not to judge them for it. This is the distinction between discernment & judgement.

 It's near impossible to eliminate PUFAs. Tallow has omega 3 & 6's but because they're combined with 30 odd times more saturated fat, it's stable.

I'm convinced that this omega 3:6 ratio bullshit is just to sell fishing waste as a health food product. Fish oils didn't become a product until we banned the dumping of fish guts & bones into the ocean.

Seed oils are unstable at body temperatures & in an oxygen rich environment. They screw your mitochondria & hence your metabolism.

 I still buzz my hair with the cordless beard trimmer I bought in about 2019.

I reckon that $100 trimmer has paid for itself. I barely used it until I found Bitcoin.

What I've found is that there's often a big lag between providing value & then receiving the value in return.

Yesterday I received a zap for a V4V BBQ I put on 2 months ago. I only knew it was for that because they wrote it in the zap. That zap made my day yesterday. The longest lag has been about a year & it was a pretty fat zap.

Providing services that have a real cost beyond my time, takes a bit of trust in the universe & bitcoiners. I've not been let down & always seem to get more value than I give. This is partly because I really enjoy cooking meat for people.
