If you're a provider of a service utilising the value 4 value model, know that you can't easily link your specific actions with zaps.

What I've found is that there's often a big lag between providing value & then receiving the value in return.

Yesterday I received a zap for a V4V BBQ I put on 2 months ago. I only knew it was for that because they wrote it in the zap. That zap made my day yesterday. The longest lag has been about a year & it was a pretty fat zap.

Providing services that have a real cost beyond my time, takes a bit of trust in the universe & bitcoiners. I've not been let down & always seem to get more value than I give. This is partly because I really enjoy cooking meat for people.

Although I don't keep tabs of who does & doesn't pay me, I've gotten to know who the generous Bitcoiners are. People's comments tend to give them away.

I'm very grateful for those generous brothers & sisters. 🙏🫂

The proverbial… gradually then all at once
Yeah - a bit like that.

We've been conditioned to expect transactional relationships with our vendors.

V4V is hard to get your head around. It's so different to what we're used to as both customers & service providers.

I've also found most Bitcoiners don't want to feel indebted to others. Most I've come across are givers rather than takers.
a very important insight for creators and service providers dipping their toes into #value4value .

In growing the v4v model, I wonder to what degree this idea of "generosity that bitcoiners learn to trust over time" is tied to the bitcoin ecosystem and how much is #v4v
+ reciprocity? Are there ways we can shorten these feedback loops?

@Brisket you are the best BBQer I have ever met. 😃🥩
I would like to share my one on one activator and healing sessions with this model. Do you have recommendations about where to start?
How do you think will the development go? Do you fear that there will be less and less zaps? ⚡
