It is a deep rabbit hole, in all honesty one of the greatest deceptions of all time, orchestrated by none other than the father of lies to push people away from God.
If I were you I wouldn’t worry about it unless you’re very open to the truth no matter how much it shatters your reality.
A very old Christian prayer (4th century), many attribute to Saint Patrick of Ireland, called Saint Patrick’s Breastplate:
“I arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the
Trinity, through belief in the Threeness, through confession
of the Oneness of the Creator of creation.
I arise today through the strength of Christ with His Baptism,
through the strength of His Crucifixion with His Burial
through the strength of His Resurrection with His Ascension,
through the strength of His descent for the Judgment of Doom.
I arise today through the strength of the love of Cherubim
in obedience of Angels, in the service of the Archangels,
in hope of resurrection to meet with reward,
in prayers of Patriarchs, in predictions of Prophets,
in preachings of Apostles, in faiths of Confessors,
in innocence of Holy Virgins, in deeds of righteous men.
I arise today, through the strength of Heaven:
light of Sun, brilliance of Moon, splendour of Fire,
speed of Lightning, swiftness of Wind, depth of Sea,
stability of Earth, firmness of Rock.
I arise today, through God's strength to pilot me:
God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me,
God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me,
God's word to speak for me, God's hand to guard me,
God's way to lie before me, God's shield to protect me,
God's host to secure me:
against snares of devils, against temptations of vices,
against inclinations of nature, against everyone who
shall wish me ill, afar and anear, alone and in a crowd.
I summon today all these powers between me (and these evils):
against every cruel and merciless power that may oppose
my body and my soul,
against incantations of false prophets,
against black laws of heathenry,
against false laws of heretics, against craft of idolatry,
against spells of witches and smiths and wizards,
against every knowledge that endangers man's body and soul.
Christ to protect me today
against poison, against burning, against drowning,
against wounding, so that there may come abundance of reward.
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right,
Christ on my left, Christ in breadth, Christ in length,
Christ in height, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
I arise today through a mighty strength, the invocation of the
Trinity, through belief in the Threeness, through confession of the
Oneness of the Creator of creation.
Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation is of the Lord.
Salvation is of Christ. May Thy Salvation, O Lord, be ever with us.“

Check out his channel, there’s a lot of great stuff in there about ancient Christianity (aka Orthodox Christianity) which is still alive and well today
Respectfully, I would encourage you to take your questions and issues with Orthodoxy, visit your local Orthodox Christian parish, and talk to a priest.
I was in a very similar position being Proteatant for 25+ years before God softened my heart and my wife and I decided to go inquire about this Orthodoxy thing, not from internet apologists, but an Orthodox priest himself.
Glory to God, I came back Home to the Church Christ established 2000 years ago ☦️
Sorry to hear that. They’re a 150 year old cult of heretics, completely divorced from the 2000 year old historical Orthodox Church that Christ established, which established the Canon of Scripture (books of the Bible) 1500 years ago and knows how to properly interpret it.
The Bible is 100% true and infallible, but that doesn’t mean that your private interpretations are infallible. This is the problem that is especially problematic in Protestant and other Christian sects. They read it plainly and literally, without understanding how the Church understands and has interpreted these texts for 2000 years.
Then they come to wildly inaccurate interpretations, especially when it comes to the book of Revelation and end times.
Ultimately Gnostic “Christians” (who wrote the Nag Hammadi texts) were Christians in name only. They spread false gospels.
Plenty of people had various opinions who saw Jesus Christ or heard stories of Him, had their own opinions/ideas and expressed them. Gnosticism is form of religious relativism, where everyone had their own truths.
That’s why there were so many ecumenical councils early on; to refute the many heresies that were springing up.
There is only one Truth. That Truth is contained within the Orthodox Church, handed down to the 12 Apostles by Christ himself, who is God incarnate.
Not a fact at all.
True Christianity (Orthodox Christianity) has its roots in Judaism (not the modern, Messiah rejecting, demonic Judaism of today), which existed hundreds of years before Socrates even lived.
There are some Early Church Fathers that used the philosophical language popular during those times to prove Christianity is true to the Greeks/Gentiles even by their own lines of philosophical argumentation.
The purpose of life is union with God, our Creator. Christianity is not a relativistic religion; on the contrary, there are specific, dogmatic beliefs that Christians must believe about God or else they are a heretic (whether in knowledge or ignorance).
For example, to be baptized into the Orthodox Church you must confess the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed:
“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, Begotten of the Father before all ages, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father; by whom all things were made:
Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;
And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, Whose kingdom shall have no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;
And we believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.
We look for the Resurrection of the dead,
And the Life of the age to come. Amen.”
There are many books I can recommend. Can make some general recommendations unless you have specific topics you’re currently interested in.

“About those Christians who are outside the Orthodox Church, therefore, I would say: they do not yet have the full Truth. Perhaps it just hasn’t been revealed to them yet, or perhaps it is our fault for not living and teaching the Orthodox Faith in a way they can understand.
With such people we cannot be one in the Faith, but there is no reason why we should regard them as totally estranged or as equal to pagans (although we should not be hostile to pagans either- they also haven’t yet seen the Truth!). It is true that many of the non-Orthodox hymns contain a teaching or at least an emphasis that is wrong- especially the idea that when one is “saved” he does not need to do anything more because Christ has done it all. This idea prevents people from seeing the Truth of Orthodoxy which emphasizes the idea of struggling for one’s salvation even after Christ has given it to us, as St. Paul says: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12 But almost all of the religious Christmas carols are all right, and they are sung by Orthodox Christians in America (some of them even in the strictest monasteries!).”

Tbh I would love to see some nostr clients adopt some form of XMR based zap equivalent.
So much easier to use non-custodial and privately.
It’s nice now that Samourai (& others) has recently released the Bitcoin-XMR atomic swaps:

What does that have anything to do with the efficacy of XMR as a tool for freedom? He hasn’t been a maintainer of the Monero project in years.
Would you stop using bitcoin if a bitcoin core dev was taken into custody for non-crypto related crimes? Because that’s what happened to fluffypony.

It’s messy, way more complicated than most wallets of similar class, just poor software engineering in general.
They couldn’t even add basic bip47 support correctly (receive only, and doesn’t support paynyms at all)
That’s some insanely low electricity rate.
Wanna buy my Whatsminers that are sitting in the garage not running? They’re not the most efficient but at your electricity rates..
It’s in reference to Matthew 6:19-22, where Christ teaches us to not worry about storing up earthly treasures that will eventually pass, but store up treasures in heaven.
It is a call to not live in comfort and earthly riches, but to give back what we can to God, His Church, missions, and the poor; to give alms.
By doing this you are laying up for yourself treasures in heaven that will last for all eternity.
Conversely, if you do not do this at all, you are setting yourself up for failure and will be eternally poor.
Love Catena, just gotta be careful, there are some heretics in there, especially post-schism.
My favorite feature is the ability to bookmark both verses and commentaries into “collections”
