Humility is one of the main virtues taught by all major religions and philosophies, there is a reason why. 

 Misplaced trust in “The Science” left many people too full of conceit in their presumed intellectual superiority that they never stopped to actually follow science or even just basic common sense. Maybe injecting a completely novel mRNA serum into your body could have unknown and possibly adverse side effects?!
