Airports are so Fiat.
Missed boarding a flight by 2 mins (8mins before takeoff). I got stopped through security because I had a butter knife in my carry on bag.
I'm tired & annoyed but I'm also remembering that there are no coincidences. I'm not sure why I wasn't supposed to be on that flight yet though.
I'm now in the flight that I initially wanted to be on & I have 6 less hours with my grumpy boomer father in law.
Believing that everything is happening for you (rather than to you) helps you to see the silver lining in shitty situations. Perhaps the reason for missing the flight was that someone on Nostr needed to hear this message?

Yeah definitely not a fan of commercial airlines. While I am in awe of flying, I find the whole experience very much at odds with the feeling of freedom I usually have.
I've no idea what would have happened if I'd spent the whole day with my FIL. Missing the flight has reduced the time I've been with him & I think it's worked out quite well in the end. He's a bit of a miserable boomer sometimes & it can be a bit draining to be around him for long.
It's been an interesting experience. I've not been presented with many negative situations from which to test this more optimistic mindset. I'm grateful for it but also eager to finish the reason for the trip & get back home.
I sometimes use it when people get a bit too much for me. I'll often un mute when I can see that they've gotten over whatever crap they're going through.
It's healthy to remove the heavy negativity sometimes.
Yeah - taking responsibility for your water is not something I'll be reversing. It's not like I have access to their water anyway.
What's funny is that they're indirectly publically confirming the conspiracy theories were legit now. The brain washing is so strong that in the face of this new evidence, they still trust the authorities. The longer people wait to shift their views, the more painful it'll be when they can no longer ignore the hard to swallow truths.
Your stories don't always translate well from Portuguese. I suspect that it's because your writing style is informal. Sometimes the genders used gets a little confusing but 95% comes across to English.
I enjoy reading them when I have the time. Don't get too caught up with what other people might think. Keep expressing what you feel you want to express - nobody is forced to read your words. I'm sure that the right people will get what they need from them.

Devs should remember to not take the whinging personally. It's probably only a small % of people that complain but the complainers are louder.
Happy users should remember to thank & zap their Devs too. It's easy to forget how much work goes into the experience that so many of us enjoy.
If you're making an income from social media, it makes sense to stay over there.
There's no reason why you can't have a Nostr presence as well though. It might take some time & sats to setup but worth it IMO.
The people that I respect the most have made this transition. I agree, it shows a real signal to walk away from the fiat platforms & focus on the decentralised protocols.
The irony is that I don't see what they post elsewhere. Linking to their own Tweets is a bit of a fail on their part though.
Nostr is more authentic & real. The engagement stuff that works with the algos doesn't really fly over here. You really need something different to get people's attention over here. The fake stuff stands out too much, especially if they're not around to answer questions & interact. Nobody loves being talked at.
You're doing what most of us can/ won't & I'm impressed that you speak out as you do.

The Israeli government is endangering the Israelis & reignitimg the victim/fear in them. You're trying to break the fear/victim pattern as far as I can see.

Comparison is the thief of joy.
Without comparing yourself to others we would have no reason to believe that's we are less than perfect.
We each brought gifts with us into this realm. Our job is to uncover & expand these gifts knowing that there are people out there waiting to receive them.
Forget about those who don't value what you create or express, they're not important. Find your passion by following your excitement & share you gifts freely. Trust that your higher self has a plan & surrender to that plan, even if pursuing it seems scary.
The unknown can be scary but ultimately that's where we discover more of who we are.

On a long walk along the foreshore in Sydney I got to listen to Daz orange pill anyone who'd listen to him.
He'd start by discovering what was really important to them & then talk about how Bitcoin made it better.
Daz is one of the most authentically positive Bitcoiners I know. I learned so much from that enjoyable walk.

Yes but I'm not aware of a client or software that would enable you to do it easily.
It's the same for generating & scheduling notes. It's possible but currently not easy.
They will both inevitably come but something beautiful will be destroyed in the process.
I would never die for my beliefs because my beliefs don't require that level of sacrifice or external validation.
I am however happy to die truly living, than to die having never lived.

I've just finished listening to the lodging of wayfaring men narrated beautifully by Max.
I highly recommend it to all Bitcoiners as I found it quite instructive & informative. It's centred around private commerce & the effects that this has on governments/society. It's much shorter & quicker than Atlas shrugged but it follows similar themes.
I also noticed Max has linked to the Smuggler & XYZ work on second realm & temporary autonomous zones. I listened to this 4 years ago but still think about many of the points they discuss.
