There’s lots of Bitcoin media personalities that make money selling attention Sponsors paying for advertising on podcasts, newsletters, etc For them to go Nostr-only is at odds with that business model given current eyeballs here They might become Nostr users in a personal capacity first Eventually their business will follow Funny how an incentive shines a light on ethics (Or bending of ethics) All about the long game

If you're making an income from social media, it makes sense to stay over there. There's no reason why you can't have a Nostr presence as well though. It might take some time & sats to setup but worth it IMO.

I am starting to think that the sensible approach is Nostr first Build schedules, systems, etc that means publish and promo of content is here first There’s way to automate to X etc But if anything I’ve learnt here is that I value the “humanness” I don’t want an automate tweet “let’s get after it relentlessly today” eg

The people that I respect the most have made this transition. I agree, it shows a real signal to walk away from the fiat platforms & focus on the decentralised protocols. The irony is that I don't see what they post elsewhere. Linking to their own Tweets is a bit of a fail on their part though. Nostr is more authentic & real. The engagement stuff that works with the algos doesn't really fly over here. You really need something different to get people's attention over here. The fake stuff stands out too much, especially if they're not around to answer questions & interact. Nobody loves being talked at.
