Sweet potato?
Marinated beef fat? Idk
Salmon
Gonna guess pumpkin.
Initial reaction was cheese, but the edges of some pieces don't have the orange like color on them and resemble that of pork chops or scrapple.
Is that chicken of the woods?

Hey, I knew something! I used to listen to this podcast in the early 2000s (very early in the podcast days), and one of the cohosts was a forager. The other host made fun of him when he talked about "chicken of the woods." I remember looking it up and I guess the knowledge stuck. 😂
weirdly, one of my first podcasts was a prepper podcast. I’m not even a crazy prepper, but the guy was insanely knowledgeable about living off the grid. He talked a lot about how long food lasts, and how they would use up dried beans when it was time to use them. Crazy stuff
