Welp
I was drafting a note in Damus and adding some pictures. Then somehow I swiped and the picture selection pane whizzed to the bottom of the screen. Nothing I do is able to bring it back up.

Very expensive fruit including square watermelons is an Asian thing; it’s usually bought as a gift. With the large Asian population in Vancouver and holiday coming up, I’m not surprised!
It’s all done with plastic molds!
You can also do it with apples, pears, etc.
But you don’t have to make them special shapes. The giant markup is also for very high quality normally shaped fruit. Completely blemish free, uniform size, perfect coloring, etc.
If you want a good money maker, try growing absolutely perfect peaches. Peaches are a longevity symbol and a box of expensive perfect peaches is a good gift for one’s parents.
I make these! I currently have this one for sale:

I also have a large mug and a couple espresso mugs which are not glazed yet.
All my Bitcoin-themed pottery is for sale only in sats. Let me know if you’re interested!
It’s very nice, but there’s no fire. I’m not sure where this is, maybe somewhere warm because of the tile floor, but I personally would want a woodstove or something.
The baby woke up earlier than usual and doesn’t seem ready to get back to sleep 😅 that’s how my day is going so far ✨ later I will go to the studio and pick up some milk; if I’m not back too late, in the evening I’ll try to make ice cream out of all these pawpaws I bought.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend. I hope the joy of singing returns soon. 🫂
Your kids sound awesome as always 😁
Fermenting them also apparently helps cut down on gas.
I’ve eaten them without savory or fermenting and never noticed a problem. Possibly because there were only few of them mixed with other veggies.
