Soy lecithin is fuckin seed oil. That rules out 95% of chocolate that you can buy.

I avoid soy, but I didn't know it was that bad.
I don't have a particular problem with soy, but soybean oil is one of the worst seed oils. I'm talking about the industrial process required to turn it into something the body accepts without total revulsion, where even the name has to be whitewashed.

There are endless research papers on seed oil production, they all center on how to make it more acceptable to the human body, with zero regard for whether it is a good idea, health-wise.
Yes. My other issue is that most soy in the US is completely soaked in glyphosphate and other -icides that are also very bad for humans.

I don't have any issue with soy itself, especially as traditionally grown and processed like tofu and soy sauce.

But finding those made from soy that is grown without the BS is absurdly difficult.
 God damn it.

I haven't had any detectable issues with soy lecitihin but have had serious issues with soybean oil and corn oil.
You can get pure unadulterated cocoa powder if Lindt chocolate is not pure enough for ya.
I have no physical issues with any of it precisely because it's engineered to bypass the body's mechanisms of revulsion.
That's not required to get the populous to slurp shit down anyway. Most people are happy slaves. I highly doubt that this particular instance is intentional sabotage, if that's what you're getting at.
They slurp shit down because it's not grossing them out and they trust food regulation works (it doesn't because it's captured).
you dude's need to eat plain rice only

I was just reading about sunflower lecithin. What I learned is that sunflower lecithin is better than soy lecithin and that sunflower lecithin is cold pressed which means it’s technically ok.

I had read before that cold pressed seed oil is not bad per se because it’s not going through the industrial process that creates regular seed oils.
Adding to this, if soy lecithin is cold pressed then you might be ok
I don't buy the cold pressed argument. There are so many steps to seed oil production, most of them using harsh chemicals and temperatures. I highly doubt cold pressed seed oils never undergo a high temperature stage. The whole seed oil industry is based in deception, starting from what it's called (vegetable oil), so I'm not going to trust any of their marketing terms to whitewash it.
 I share your distrust.

On my search for healthy protein powder I have found one that only has 2 ingredients: organic grass-fed whey protein and organic sunflower lecithin and was concerned about the second one.

That's why your note caught my attention.

I had read about the difference between cold-pressed seed oil (the old fashioned way) and the industrial seed oil on a book called "Deep Nutrition" by Catherine Shanahan and just found this other reference below.

Based on these two references, I'm going to try this protein powder.

Jup. Found out the hard way
 Cacao powder fixes this.
Resorting to making my own chocolate!
 Chocolate is a shit coin
They put seed oils in everything. It’s a real bitch, but my body feels hella better since cutting them out.
I don't know if cutting them out changed how I feel, since I made other health improvements at the same time. My take is seed oils are a slow, silent killer. Not detectable in the short term but devastating in the long term, which is the essence of fiat.
Same, it was just one of many things that I cut out. It’s hard saying what exactly is making the changes. 🤙
Shit 👀 , now we are covering all processed food
