Yeah - I have some regret.
My 2 are adults now & I wish we'd knocked a couple more out straight after them. It would have been much harder but we would have had gotten through it.
It's too late now.
Now all I can do is build a place where my grandchildren can raised healthy & strong.
And yet the vast majority of people experiencing this relative opulence exist in a state of fear. The opulence is funded by credit & their uncertain income is constantly shrinking in real terms.
The fear is a low level fear that they're only a couple of missed paychecks away from being homeless. Sure they look successful, but they know it's a house of cards.
I personally didn't know I lived with this fear until it was lifted. It didn't lift until I'd placed my meagre savings into Bitcoin & watched it 4x in purchasing power. I'm grateful everyday to have shed it & I refuse to allow the fear to ever return.
Love (Agape) & Fear are mutually exclusive. You cannot experience unconditional love while you're filled with fear. You cannot be fearful when you're filled with Agape.
Yes. Lose your fear so that you can help others to find their courage.
The irony is that you don't need much courage, if you have no fear.
Those that seek to control our will & actions are scared of those who carry no fear. They're scared that this fearlessness will infect others.

I see no reason why a bank would pay you a yield to hold your Bitcoin unless they then exposed it to risk. I bought Bitcoin to escape that third party risk.
Using Bitcoin as collateral for a fiat loan is different. You're paying a yield to them for acquiring fiat that they created out of thin air. It's not exactly ethical but it's beneficial for both the lender & borrower. I'm surprised he didn't bring that up because he has in the past.

I don't think the ego can be killed directly. By attempting to destroy it, you focus on it & ironically give it more power.
What you might want to try is starving it of it's sense of separateness.
Fight your internal judge & victim. These are the 2 aspects that the ego depends on for seperation. Comparison is food for the ego & also the thief of joy.

It's fat - fat floats.
The only problem with the fat from broth is that the oil based flavors/smells can infuse into the fat.
If you used things like spices, onion, garlic, tomatoes & peppers in your broth they will infuse with the fat.
If you're just using meat & bones, it can be used to make tallow for cosmetics. When making tallow for this, I clean the fat to remove as much color & smell as possible but those strong flavors will never be removed.
You don't have much fat in there. I'd leave it in because it does carry a lot of flavor & beef fat is magic.
I make mine in a huge pot with lots of fatty bones with just water & salt. The fat layer can be over an inch thick sometimes.
It's only after I've removed the fat that I add spices & other flavors. Usually I reduce the water in the stock and freeze it into concentrated broth blocks. I then add it to sauces or use it as a base for soup.
It may surprise you to know that most humans have issues around their own worthiness. This applies to many people who appear to have everything going right for them. Underneath their exterior they have huge insecurities & perceived faults that they hope nobody will notice.
I recommend reading/listening to The 4 agreements (a short book) & then try to implement them.
The book has really helped me to love myself. If you can't love yourself unconditionally, how can you expect anyone else to?

How would you even know a note was signed by a particular client? It's irrelevant information that's not recorded in the event.
I don't see this as a client issue but rather a relay problem. What I'd love is my own private relay that enables me to choose what events are sent to my client.
Nobody owns an idea. The only way to own an idea is maintain exclusive access to it (to keep it a secret).
Nostr allows users to own their online identity by maintaining exclusive access to their private key (nsec).
The content created can be copied, but nobody can take away your secret & post as you. Nostr enables users to own their online identity but not their content. Their content sits on relays & web servers & is easily copied.
I believe Jake is suggesting that there's a form of social capital created which resides with the identity. This social capital is built from content & interactions online. I'm not entirely sure that you could call it property though. I can't sell my identity since I can't transfer it (yet). I can share my identity secret with someone else but they can't be sure I won't sell the secret to someone else.
It's definitely interesting to think about.
People are scared of taking responsibility. It's much easier to judge others & wait to be saved than to accept that you did this to yourself. The tradeoff is your freedom & so many willingly make this trade.
The first step to freedom is accepting responsibility for your own experience.
