My dog has been adverse to grooming since puppyhood. Except for what I call paw-dicures, puppy pedicures. As a puppy she would even howl the entire time I was in the shower. I think wrestling an alligator might be easier than bathing her. I keep her away from the worst smells and do force baths on her sometimes. I’ve also accepted she smells like a dog.
Ugh so you can’t be sure she didn’t retain some placenta. I’d keep a close eye on her and call the vet if she seems to be worsening at all. In the meantime would you like me to reach out to some farming friends for more specific advice? Unfortunately I know people who’ve raised goats and cows and not sheep. I’d try a sheep specific message board. Have any neighbors raising sheep you could ask?
The nostriches I like are pro actual engagement and don’t care about follower count. Value model. Accounts obsessed with followers tend to be scammers imo.
I set out this year to get everything organized, particularly the massive paper monster that came with serious health issues and surgeries. I’ve come to the conclusion paper shredders are an underrated household appliance. Decluttering and paperwork seem to be a never ending task. I will never be as organized as I’d like. It will always be a work in progress. One day, hopefully a long time from now, the executor of my estate will have to finish the paperwork of my life.
This upcoming US election, particularly presidential election I’m wishing they had the option to write in “I’m refusing to vote for your shit candidates. Winning the popular vote but losing the electoral college doesn’t mean the electors voted in opposition to the citizens of their state. The electoral college was put in place so large population centers wouldn’t carry more sway than states with more rural or agricultural areas. It was meant to provide equity between states.
I’m gonna slide in here to say, you should probably be spending more of your time off Nostr. I love it. I think it’s great. I’ve formed wonderful relationships through Nostr. No social media should replace real world interactions. Go touch grass.
