I know nothing of the book, but I'd strongly suggest not to believe everything you read.
Freedom & responsibility go hand in hand, much like trust & the illusion of safety.
The curtain is slowly being pulled back. People will be forced to choose to trust in themselves or trust in authority.
Few are choosing responsibility yet. The trust in authority will continue to be broken.
All we can do is maintain & elevate our freedom while hoping that others will join us. Trust in the human desire to live freely, it's what makes us human.
More heat & time preheating will get the pan hotter for that instant sear.
Cast iron tends to have more thermal mass, so it keeps that high heat for longer after adding the steak.
A thin ribeye won't need long (less than a minute each side).

Butter burns quickly & limits your temp range.
I'd use a dry pan to get the initial sear & add the butter just before turning.
Once seared the steak easily disconnects from the pan. You don't need butter/oil to avoid sticking, it's purely for flavour.
I don't frequently cook steaks in butter, I usually use a charcoal grill.
Possessing a dedicated encryption communication device? That would be most Bitcoiner's phone & laptop.
It looks like the 3LA order breach is for not providing access to data on a device.

I just planted a mulberry (20mins ago). No seeds - it was a rooted cutting.
I expect it will provide fruit & shade within 4 years.

It's not just the threat of violence that I object to. It's the more subtle forms of coercion, like guilt, fear or obligation that I also object to.
I don't believe in altruism. Everyone acts because they believe that they will be benefit from that action.
I want to live in a strong, healthy & joyful community. I enjoy seeing people thrive & living their best lives. If I help anyone, it's because I wanted to help them & not because I felt obligated to do so.
I believe most humans feel similar if they're really honest with themselves & their motivation.
I don't love how the term NPC dehumanises the individual.
Although they seem like an NPC, I think it's probably more accurate to say they're AFK. Their avatar is on autopilot & they're completely unaware of who they really are.
I call these people perfect strangers. They're very different to the people in your life that already have a fixed idea of who you are.
You meet with neutrality, exchange information that you both need & then continue on your way.
Never underestimate the impact that you have on them. They've certainly impacted me.
Believing that everything is happening for you, opens your mind up to the possibilities/value in every situation. 🧡
It takes several touches before most of us really lean in to discovering Bitcoin.
It's far easier to dismiss it than it is to try to understand it.
Digital gold is probably the best metaphor for them to initially understand it. Maybe try to get them to trade something of value for a little Bitcoin? If you just give them Bitcoin, they probably won't value it.
Orange pill them softly & try to meet them where they're at.
At the end of the day it's on them to understand it, not you. There's only so much that you can do.
