Good morning from the flower shop! 💐 I swear everything in Amsterdam is so cute—eye candy everywhere! 😍 https://i.nostr.build/7hTZIVUCgrzOGq1o.jpg https://i.nostr.build/3cvUNfJe8Rqgc2Pf.jpg

GM💜 What flower do you like here?
Honestly, the combination of all the flowers felt like a dreamland—I loved seeing them and smelling the all together. But I have to admit, I was particularly drawn to the Gladiolus. Its fragrance was surprisingly strong, which is unusual for this species compared to the more prominent scents of jasmine or roses.

Do you have a favorite flower? One of my favorite floral scents is Lily of the Valley, and visually, I love how hydrangeas brighten up a garden.
Wow, what a beautiful experience you had with the flowers!
I don’t know much about flowers, but I like sunflowers. It’s fascinating how they always face the sun. 🌻🌞
 They are beautiful 🌻

No tulips?
Haha true, that was yesterday and I did not take as many photos because my phone had not charged all night so woke up with 10% 🤦‍♀️
Coffee shops have good coffee too 🤤🤤🤤
What if your preferred coffee of choice is this?

These would be my parents in law literally 🥲
 And me literally 😂

I don’t like “proper” coffee.

I do however have a refined tea pallet and only drink this:

Not shaming you at all! There is a different taste for everyone and I sometimes it is hard to define what is coffee. But I don’t expect Nescafe when I order coffee anywhere 🤣
In Ukraine, the default and preferred coffee when I was there a few years ago, before the war, was Nescafé

Outside of there and a few countries in Asia, you are correct, you expect a coffee shop to use freshly ground, roasted beans!

Coffee is a cult, the same as Bitcoin or Scientology, choose your cult wisely.

Bitcoin will make you rich, the other two will reduce your wealth 😂
For sure! Right on the money. In Mexico there is a lot of Nescafé too, but also “Café de Olla” which is an extremely sweet one I do not like at all - but again it is very typical!
 💯
 I’ve never tried this one.
If you're used to fresh ground bean coffee, this probably isn't for you 😂
Okay 😂 but what is it?
 Instant coffee.

They brew coffee, dry it and package it so you can re-hydrate instantly.

I actually like it, but I'm not a coffee drinker.

It is preferred in many countries, but is generally considered an inferior product to freshly brewed coffee.

Freeze dry it (industrial critical point drying in fact). Loses elements of its flavour via the freezing/pressure process though. Can’t beat freshly roasted, ground and then brewed at the right temps.
Oh so like freeze dried? This is probably what we need to stock up on (emergency stock pile) as it should last a long time!
 Also good for that 👍
 Adorable!
 🥰
Yea I went to the amazing flower market years ago - saw a lot of Tulips
Tulips and the markets 💐 are a classic part of Holland
