If alcohol is so bad for you, then why did Jesus turn water into wine?
If it’s good enough for Jesus Christ, it’s good enough for me.
Being sober is essentially blasphemy.
Some young buck really had his way with the cherry tree we planted…
Probably my fault for using inappropriate fencing materials. https://i.nostr.build/rKeD7UVbLzAsu6Am.jpg
Why is the Catholic Church like this..?
“The Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the nation’s largest, has agreed to pay $880 million to 1,353 people who say they were sexually abused as children by Catholic clergy. The settlement, which experts said was the highest single payout by a diocese, brings Los Angeles’s cumulative total in sex abuse lawsuits to more than $1.5 billion.”

Does 1080p vs 720p REALLY make that noticeable of a difference?
I record @Titcoin with Riverside.fm, and I usually record in 720p to avoid issues, but my Sony a6700 records up to 4K… but will most people even notice the difference..?
I was just thinking…
bitcoin (lowercase) is a Store of Value, Medium of Exchange, and Unit of Account.
But #Bitcoin (uppercase) is *THE* medium of exchange. Like the Bitcoin network is literally the medium through which bitcoin is exchanged.
Last night I was bringing in some plants before it frosted and a butterfly came with them. I tried to shoo it back outside, but escaped deeper into the house and landed on the wall, firmly out of reach. Today, it finally made its way to the window and I caught it in a mason jar. Now it’s free again. https://v.nostr.build/n73T6B3IfXSLwGAk.mp4
This @Titcoin episode is one of the first I recorded so apologies if the audio levels are a bit wonky. Might re-record Anatomy of the State with my new setup because it’s honestly one of the most succinct and approachable dissections of the State ever written…
Either way, if you need some #AustrianAudible ASMR to fall asleep to this should do the trick 🤙 nostr:note1ekyasp6s9u3vuwhy7dfakkuxn4yyerznfphlp5sz9rqke0r4pq7q7nsapu
Tomorrow I'm talking with recently-married macro maverick and #Bitcoin maximalist Sam Callahan on @Titcoin
What questions do you have for @Sam about money, macro, and marriage? 👇 https://i.nostr.build/ee3vvCnmmSRYURfP.jpg
I think it’s important to separate the men and women who serve their country from the politicians who serve only themselves and send those soldiers off to die in foreign lands.
From talking with a lot of Bitcoin veterans at great length, what I’ve found is they truly wanted to serve their country for the betterment of the American people, even if that meant sacrificing their own lives.
Many were swept up in the post-9/11 era of pro-war propaganda (understandably so) and wanted to make a difference by fighting for their country.
Then, at some point in the faithful execution of their duties, they became disillusioned, realizing that they were really serving the politicians and the military industrial complex, and that the reasons they were told they were fighting were not the real reasons.
This is of course a massive oversimplification, and I do not want to put words into the mouths of any veterans.
My personal experience from all of the veterans I know is they are some of the best people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.
In the words of @TheGuySwann : “Bitcoin Veterans that hate the State are the best people in the world.”
I agree with Guy wholeheartedly.
If you want to hear from a truly badass veteran who is currently directly serving Americans disaster victims in need, check out @ShaneHazel of @Bitcoin Veterans
I had a great conversation with him on @Titcoin that I think you’ll enjoy.
