Human hair placed around tree MAY keep them away. It works for majority of deer locally. You can get human hair from some local barbershops. 🫂

That should help. The granules last at least a month depending on rain. The more suburban the environment, the more fearless the deer though.
I’ve heard planting bulb flowers like daffodils around the tree can deter deer because the bulbs are toxic for them and they know so stay away. And if they don’t work at least it’s pretty in the springtime.
