 Good morning! ☕️

So, I’ve been reading a lot about carnivore diets on Nostr.

Having been mostly a non-meat eater my whole life and even vegan a couple of years ago, I'm curious if this diet might help my body perform better and reduce my constant fatigue and inflammation.
As a woman and a runner, I'm looking for insights on the best approach to transitioning to a carnivore diet.
Specifically, what considerations should I keep in mind, and who can I trust for guidance?

There’s so much conflicting information out there, and I feel that asking this on social media will just get me the usual negative comments.

I’d really appreciate any honest advice or personal experiences that can help me make an informed decision. 🙏🙏🙏

👎 Sugar is unhealthy for humans in any form.

Here's the correct pyramid: https://nostpic.com/media/0018b7ee33fb253843639c62e292fec700a69a93b08ee374c5bda971c9b39564/0a54802d3cb5e7d60f08a6e9eb21a8cfb5df4554c75ae74f00f918daa5eefec6.webp
Sugar is not good in fruits ?
Meh, sort of. Natural sugars in fruits are available seasonally and usually before winter, allowing us to binge and gain a bit of weight for the times of the year meat is not readily available. Now that we can have meat all year around, fruits really aren’t needed. They were a nice available option to get us to modern living when you might die in the winter if you didn’t fatten up a bit before.
animal products are angiogenic which is great if you're wounded but not if you've got any latent cancer in your body
The fact that the carnivore diet is being pushed so heavily on Nostr is concerning to me personally. From what I understand there is simply not enough surface area to grow the food needed to feed the livestock necessary for the entire planet to be pure carnivores. I'm sure many people have had great success being a carnivore, I wonder how much of that health improvement is actually related to switching away from processed foods however.

I advocate for a diet based largely on unprocessed food. Within that category I would think a healthy ratio would be something like:

15% meat (beef/chicken),
20% animal products (dairy/eggs),
50% (20/30) Fruit and vegetables (fresh greens, roots, whole seeds, legumes, nuts),
15% carbs (primarily whole grain, fresh ground, homemade bread. As well as brown rice grown in Asia or California).

I'm not a nutritionist, and honestly who really knows, but from what I've looked at those who follow keto/carnivore diets tend to die younger than those who follow primarily plant based unprocessed food diets and eat generally less calories than the average person. I know I feel great after drinking a "dirty juice" (Google it) blended in my Vitamix than I do after a steak.

Good luck on your journey to find the best diet for your system! We all want to be healthy, but we also need to be considerate of food with more sustainable land and water usage.
Replied to a comment by mistake when I meant to reply here:

That is actually a very good point taking in consideration and yes “dirty juice” I just looked up. Haven’t heard that word before! Keep you update 🙏
This is only accurate if you consider the current meat farming practices. If you use regenerative agriculture, there absolutely is. It may not be all Beef, but a mix of all ruminants.
is cheese allowed? my life would be poorer without cheese in my mouth 🙈😝
 You betcha. Love cheese!

you have never been out in the country if you think there isn't plenty of space

not only that, it's not only cows, which need damper conditions, sheep tolerate drier and colder conditions and goats can eat well without a lot of grass, and they do well, as do sheep, on more hilly terrain

and what most of the land of agriculture is doing now is producing low protein and fat quality seed crops like sunflower, rapeseed, wheat and barley, and in many cases, fed to animals in dirty cramped feedlots for absolutely no reason when the animals would do better directly on that ground where the seeds are being grown, plus, they aren't seed eaters, they are grass eaters, seeds make the meat quality lower, not only that they don't let the animals mature, there is way too much veal and lamb and not enough beef and mutton

these animals are bred from animals that live naturally on grasslands and the grassland environment is nurtured by their presence

industrial genetically modified pesticide and herbicide seed based foods are promoted by agricultural/biotech industries and have been promoted heavily since the 60s, creating whole memes and propaganda about veganism, which really isn't about eating vegetables it's about eating THEIR seed crops and chemically processed seed proteins and starches and the whole real purpose is to make a lot of money causing people to live shorter lifespans and get diabetes and die of cancer, because that's what high carb diets do to most humans, something like 2/3 of the human population is NOT ADAPTED to a high carb diet
you also probably don't know that the majority of the human race is fed by goats, their meat and milk, outside of your polluted, demoralized city environments

the cows are only the majority of production in english speaking countries, basically, and a bit of western europe, and that's because it's damp, flat old ground that suits raising them, or sparse, huge areas like the midwest of USA and australia where they can run the cows on really big areas of relatively infertile land
Fair point that it's the methods used to grow the meat that is likely more unsustainable than meat itself. I'm sure if carnivore diets really are more beneficial to human health we'll find ways to meet that demand more efficiently.

I'm curious what is your view on insects as an alternative and more efficient source of protein? Many non-western countries eat insects regularly, and from what I understand they're the most efficient form of animal proteins available.
first of all, chitin is not a protein, it's a sugar polymer, with some amino acids in its structure

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chitin

> Chitin (C8H13O5N)n (/ˈkaɪtɪn/ KY-tin) is a long-chain polymer of N-acetylglucosamine, an amide derivative of glucose.

secondly, insects have all kinds of parasites that are unfamiliar and potentially dangerous to humans

thirdly, it is impossible to eliminate their elimination organs and this is just disgusting, frankly, think of what it's like eating prawns or shrimp that haven't been gutted properly *shudder* - and this is why the bible repeatedly says do not eat anything that crawls or flies

the most efficient type of protein as far as i'm concerned is goat, it is lean, but fat enough to not leave you short on fats, the animal itself can and does eat almost anything green, they even famously will nibble on some paper and cardboard if they see it, its hide is perfect for most purposes except heavy protection (most leather gloves are made of it), and the fibre-producing goats make very comfortable soft clothing, less abrasive than sheep, its milk is quite high in fat but this varies by the breed, they can live in conditions from deserts to alpine and taiga environments, with the right kind of breed and are easier to herd than sheep

in fact, goat is the primary red meat consumed by the largest number of people on the planet, and their dairy products, milk and yoghurt, the most common forms of dairy consumed per capita

cows have more uncommon requirements for their raising, and need a big range if the land is low fertility like tundra or prairie or scrubland, they primarily eat grass, and don't really browse much on anything else

having said that, their fat is a higher quality and quantity in the meat... but also, the most common kind of dairy cow produces a harsh protein that is difficult for a lot of people to digest, whereas goat and sheep milk is better, though jersey (red) cow milk is also good

from a health and evolutionary perspective, humans have been herding sheep, goats and cattle since maybe at least 15000 years and a great number of human haplogroups are adapted to it, as well as drinking the milks, as some 40,000 years ago a new mutation appeared in our genetics where the lactose digestion genes stopped turning off, which happens in most other mammals prior to sexual maturity (for humans this is about 8 years old)

almost every part of these animals is useful if not highly nutritious

any "science" that praises insects as food is bullshit fake science to sell yet another industrial production process for food that actually will just kill people in the long term
Thanks for the detailed response! I appreciate the effort that went into it. Have some Sats friend.
yeah, there is protein in insects but it's way lower per dry weight than ruminant meat... it's literally like sugar plastic
This is a valid concern. But, we’ve done the calculations, and if you converted all of the land that is wasted, monocropping, soy bean, corn, rice, oats. You would have enough grazing land to feed the entire world.
Humans have evolved eating mainly meat over millions of years enabling our brains to grow in size as we developed more efficient ways on hunting large beasts.

Fruit, vegetables and grains becoming a major part of our diet only for the last 13k years or so. Our brain size peaked then and has decreased in size since.

To get back to larger scale regenerative animal farming, we would have to make considerable changes. But if the demand is there and the steady but slow rate of adoption continues, capitalism and free markets will increase supply over time. Hopefully at the expense of massive areas of agriculture where they poison the land and kill billions of sentient animals in order to grow grains and vegetables.
Missing seafood and inappropriate for someone living further away from the equator to be eating tropical fruit in the winter.
Gm! I'm sure nostr:nprofile1qqsqqx9hacelkffcgd3ecchzjtlvwq9xn2fmprhrwnzmm2t3exee2eqpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueqrswwax has some great resources to help you out! I personally also follow accounts such as Paul Saladino, Max Lugavere, Carnivore Aurelius on other social media who seem to be mostly putting out well-researched info about nutrition
Amazing. Thank you for the feedback here 🙏
Appreciate the love my friend! ❤️ However I would hard disagree with Saladino and Aurelius being guiding lights here, IMO they've devolved into supplement & organ pumpers and are heavily misleading their audiences AWAY from the proper human diet, and have come full circle from being skeptical of fiat science and now use "tHe sTuDiEs" to support their love of sugar.

My top 6 would be: Dr. Anthony Chaffee, Professor Bart Kay,, Dr. Lisa Wiedeman, Dr. Stephanie Rimka, Dr. Shawn Baker, and our very own, freshly-hatched nostrich nostr:nprofile1qqstzt0wugc7sklvr8e7fcl7ukyn63ym3ns4nmf2mnk0vqnz4l9x65qpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqguwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxumm5d4skuerpw3hhy7fwdaexwqgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghx66tyv3kxjmn89ekhjerwwvhx5uq9ezhgl. These 5 will show you the way!

I've had the pleasure of having 3 of those 6 on my own podcast (hopefully will get to all of them soon!) - these rips will be a perfect intro to carnivore diet for you, nostr:nprofile1qqst32wlsgvqsnjfpkygxs4f6jyt0nc0kg935xdevwlv668dd26uh0gprfmhxue69uhkummnw3e8qatz9euk2emgwfhjuumfw3jsz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumrpwaskcmr9wshxzusncjj8x 👇

It is different for everyone though fwiw

I feel light years better on the Saladino version than meat only

I was meat only for 12 months and by the end — after I was significantly leaner — I felt horrible. Constant cramps heart skips and my blood work turned to trash (tris consistently in the 200s)

I did everything I could. Insane amounts of salt. LMNT (electrolytes) multiple times a day and nothing was fixing it.

Once I started incorporating fruit honey and raw milk I’ve felt SOOO much better and have been that way now for almost 18 months.

Personally the meat only was not sustainable for me I started to feel bad once I got lean enough. My athletic performance is also way better now

I think the meat only is a good tool to get lean and fix metabolic disease, but to thrive I’d disagree with you from experience that a lot of people wouldn’t benefit from fruit and honey.
I found this video later but this represents exactly what I went through — and cywes is pretty anti carb

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dVWu0GnfOM
What's your ultimate carb intake? How do you measure? I wish I could figure out a scientific way to approach this... I feel like regular carbs bring up inflammation pretty quickly in my body. Will have to watch this video and may e reset with a super strict only meat carnivore and then dabble with quantity of fruit. Been carnivore for 2.5ish years now.
Wont be the best answer but I just listen to my body.

I try to do that in multiple ways though.

For example, two fruits I cannot eat are strawberries and apples. Immediately when I eat them, they bloat me. I note this and just stay away from what I know isn't working for me.

I'm also a 6'1 guy who is ~195 pounds and works out quite a bit. I eat about ~2 pounds of meat a day. If I am still hungry at the end of the day or I'm losing or gaining weight, that's another signal for me.

My days usually work out something like this:

fasted workout in the AM

post workout:
2 bananas with a good amount of honey and a medium glass of raw milk

lunch: 6 eggs with a half pound of beef (mix in liver here occasionally)
I have a dessert with my lunch which is a bowl of frozen mangoes with a small glass of raw kefir (don't know why but this combo is delicious)

Dinner:
1-1.5 pounds of steak
if I'm still very hungry after this I add another small glass of kefir or a medium glass of raw milk
then to finish I have a cup of hot bone broth (usually chicken but sometimes its beef)

I stay away from fruit at night and usually keep it to the first half of the day. If I'm hungry or gaining weight, I usually only touch the carbs portion. The beef stays consistent. If I'm super gassy from the milk, I know that day I drank too much. Happens rarely, though.
That sounds like a delicious meal set up.

Bloating is a big issue for me as well and breaking out. I recently double confirmed that apples do break me out... and pretty sure strawberries do too + other seed rich berries or fruit.

Curious why avoid fruit in the evening?

I think I'd heard from Dave Aspree prior to going carnivore when speaking of detrimental effects he'd experienced with going full keto and instead was encouraging cyclical ketosis to have fruit at night as dessert. I think due to potential energy decline during the day and taking one out of ketosis (not sure).

Thank you, for sharing your exprience.
Nothing real scientific i just have found I sleep better when I keep it higher fat at night and stack my carbs earlier in the day and closer to my workouts
gonna try the fasted work out first thing in the morning... lately been trying to eat in the first half an hour of my day, my body has been feeling loved up when I do that!
Oh yeah, what's your fat intake like?
Just from the beef and the milk — I used to eat super fatter cuts but now I’ll maybe have a ribeye once a week and stick to leaner cuts like bistro and top sirloin

I’m not keeping track of anything specific or counting macros
@Ben Wehrman 🎙⚡️🥩 thank you for sharing this! Great having so many honest and insightful thoughts and advice! My only concern is, if it is affecting women differently to men? Can we have the same diet? I will look into all this and maybe just write it all down what I experience 🙏
There is no species in nature where diet optimality changes based on male/female. We are a carnivorous animal and thus carnivore is ideal for men and women! The videos above with Dr. Rimka and Dr. Wiedeman will be especially amazing for you, they give great signal from the women's perspective
My experience with adding fruit, honey etc is the complete opposite to yours @cwilbzz. Fortunately Professor Bart Kay helped me back on track with his explanation of The Randle Cycle.
This is why we can’t be dogmatic and why I think it’s important to be weary when we say “optimal”

This is what fixed me. I wasn’t his client but I was this exact case

nostr:note1vay4675jxmdald7r5453l9td7zed948wdkns5x8q4mqt4hg29c7slnl92e
Yes I had similar issues but following Dr Cywes' advice messed me up even more. Professor Tim Noakes, his mentor and also a South African who taught him about low carb, disagrees with him.

But I'm not here to try convince you. Rather to show people that this issue is not black and white one way or the other, but more nuanced. I think it would be much simpler if we're weren't all messed up by our modern toxic environments. It seems to make us all sensitive to different things which cause various physical and mental issues.
Absolutely I know what works for me is to focus more holistically on what nature is telling us we should eat vs industrial sludge

The majority of that being beef

And for that we are on the same team 🤝

Glad you got something that worked for you
I’ve done it for about 6 years and read and experienced most of the available information.

Do you have an email or a Twitter/IG account? I can probably DM you some guidance
 Sent you a Dm ☺️
Great, where? 😅 (didn’t see anything on Twitter or IG)
Here on Nostr, takes sometimes a bit…
Yeah, that’s why I put Twitter or IG , because DM here are not really a thing (bad privacy etc)
 Received 🙏
Are you #tarded? Clearly ask the meat ain't helping
 Hi Tanja,
From my experience, there is no exact/best diet. Learning from life, the best thing to do is to keep everything balanced and not beeing too extreme on one single thing or diet. Listening to your body will give you best advice for each time and situation. The trues (golden point) lies always somewhere in the middle of extremes.
True that, but need to start somewhere and somehow if the current diet is not working anymore 🫣
As a runner you will need a decent amount of carbs right? 😃
Some friends followed a carnivore diet, but what I've learned from them this diet would not fit my needs as a cyclist doing endurance activities.

That said, I'm completely blank on this topic so I'm curious there are ways to keep your carbs high enough 😄
Yeah, I agree I do need my carbs for running but my body is so tired for a while now that is thought giving it a try after the marathon 🤔
Your body can run beautifully on fat - it's a great fuel! - but it can take a while to get those fat-burning pathways fully engaged.

In some of the podcasts that are recommended on this thread, you'll see a lot of interviews with athletes that only eat meat.
 Thank you 🙏
I've seen quite a few interviews of endurance athletes doing well on a low carb diet.

Dr. Anthony Chaffee has posted quite a few interviews on that topic.

I am not an endurance athlete, so I can't speak from personal experience on that, but I can say that my chronic fatigue was greatly reduced when I cut most plants out of my diet.
This is sooo interesting as here in Berlin the people telling you always the exact opposite… but it’s not working for me anymore so thank you for sharing this ! 🙏
You would be surprised what animal fat can do for you. Additional, what does your body turn protein in to should you need additional energy? You don’t needs carbs.

https://www.google.com/search?q=What+does+your+body+turn+excess+protein+into&sca_esv=fe8129afcdc2433e&source=hp&ei=znDjZu3eMuGGwbkPt-ff-A8&oq=What+does+your+body+turn+excess+protein+into
It takes time for the body to break down proteins into usable energy using a process called gluconeogenesis. Carbohydrates are turned into usable energy much faster than proteins. As you are already most likely aware, a high carb diet for endurance races is what the winners do. Losers, eat a steak before a big endurance race, and have to stop halfway through the race for a nap.
 GM. ☕😌🤙

Great timing.

 Good morning beautiful 🤩
 Saw that 🙏

Hi Tanja, nice you also live in Berlin. I've been on an animal plus fruits nutrition since more than a year and it is a huge gain for me. I'm not doing lot of endurance training anymore, but some short and frequent workouts. I've increased strengh, vitality and body shape. The effects came quickly after 2 weeks or so. That's my experience in short. If you want I can tell more another time. Good luck!
Wow! That is amazing to hear! And great to hear you eat fruits as well as I would struggle cutting that out 🤭
Dr. Anthony Chaffee has some runner specific content on YouTube.
 Amazing! 💪🏻
I would read the following books (or listen podcast of these authors)

- fiat food
- deep nutrition
- stay off my operating table

People like Paul Saladino and Dr. Cate Shanahan

Helped me a lot to become a better version of myself
Wow! Great! Okay, gonna do my homework here then 😉
 Cate Shanahan is amazing.
 yes
@MaxDeMarco would be the most knowledgable and experienced person here to advise on this.
His videos on the subject are brilliant.
The transition to carnivore is always a hard one. I found talking to people who did it and listening to their advice is best especially with all this conflicting data / evidence.

Feel free to join our telegram group. We’re about 570 health conscious people and most did some form of carnivore and we help each other out with exactly these questions 🫂🧡

 Thanks very much Max.
 Thank you so helpful! 🙏🧡
If you want books, read The Real Meal Revolution by Tim Noakes.

And yes, this diet will make your inflammation vanish within three months. You can later try keto if carni is too strict for you.
Thanks for the advice! Lot to read here 🙏 love the community for this!
 Hey Tanja,

I've been on for 9 months now to manage my autoimmune disease, ankylosing spondylitis, and I'm mostly symptom free with it and with no medication.

Can't eat too much dairy, except a bit off butter and hard cheese, nor eggs without symptoms, so I'm almost meat only (except few plant ingredients every now and then which I tolerate).

There's not too many things to worry about except folate (vit B9) for some. I most likely got deficient in it, so if you start to experience fatigue, diarrhea or headaches after the adjusting period, add some chicken liver, lamb and fish to up folate intake.

When it comes to starting, you may drop vegetables little by little if you want a smooth transition period, although I had no problems starting straight cold turkey, though it wasn't a drastic change to begin with, was on autoimmune paleo before that.

When it comes to running, it may vary whether you can perform on ketosis or if you need carbs, but adapting to fat burning will take a while, so I'd give that some time, a few months before judging if full on ketosis is for you. Talking of which, don't fear to add some extra fat on every meal :)

Good luck!
Thank you for sharing this! Yes, my most fear is actually the body reaction but I believe I will find out and do a smooth transition as my body hasn’t had any meet in probably 20 years …
 Exciting!!

 Happy to help.
Have a look at Paul Saladino, he has covered all bases
I play indoor soccer a couple times a week, hike, run and hit the gym often. By my mid-30s, I was constantly having foot, ankle and knee pain/issues. I switched to (mostly) carnivore in 2020 and have been issue free since then. It's like magic.
Wow! This is incredible to hear, as my knee is hurting badly for a while and even after taking running breaks etc. it’s not getting any better and inflammation consistently is coming back…
I'd say to give it a shot for 4-6 weeks to gauge if it helps!
When you go off carbs, your body will likely dump water, leading to the infamous carnivore diarrhea for 1-2 weeks
Supposedly salt (or other electrolytes) can help

Longer term, the main variable to play with is fat vs lean percentage
Assuming you're not trying to lose body fat you'll probably want something like 80% fat calories (which you can get from 70/30 ground beef, Ribeyes, or other fatty meat)

Be careful with dairy, it's addictive
Another thing to watch out for is processed meat (eg sausage, jerky, even some bacon), which often has added sugar, added chemicals and can be "fully cooked" which denatures some of the Vitamin C
Thank you, yes dairy is super addictive and the processed meat is so full of bad things, especially here in Germany…
This is something I’m seriously looking into. As an aspiring Ultra runner with my next event booked in for May next year, I’m cautious in making the change and the effect it will have on me with training in the short term, but also would need to look at food intake for the actual events. Currently it’s all fast digesting sugars whilst racing for instant energy obviously.

I’ll need to practise getting in to the checkpoints and chowing down on some steaks 🥩 😂
Haha, yes I feel you as I mean when racing you need sugar instantly otherwise the body is not surviving it. But for me it is more long term and my current diet is just not working anymore .
For Brazilians is so strange to follow carnivore hashtags. We all eat meat almost in a daily basis since children. Not to sound rude, I understand culture differences of course, but it sounds curious making a big deal of something that outside US may be standard.
I know, when I went to Brazil 2019 they where like “what do you mean you don’t eat meat” 😂😂😂
No one knows, just eat whole unprocessed foods and you’ll get 90% of the way there
As I see carnivore benefits are derived a lot from the elimination of carbs. Many of the metabolic diseases we have (diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gout etc) derive from low quality carbs that are in our world everywhere (white rice, bread, some cereals, refined sugars), . . Just getting rid of them from a normal persons diet will help incredibly to improve a whole bunch of symptoms like tiredness, muscle pain and general inflammation.

The other side of the equation is of course expenditure and excretion. If someone eats loads of carbs and sits around all day at a desk this isn't good news. Someone like yourself is fit and hence its less of an issue to eat a few extra carbs. Having said that the inflammation response from some of these foods is the issue. It causes problems with waste excretion and toxins can build up leading to further inflammation and hence the cycle continues.

I'd suggest to give carnivore a try for a month or two. See how you feel, recover after training and just generally feel. You could do blood tests pre and post trying and see. Likely you would need 2 month to see changes in blood I suspect. Not sure tho about that bit.

I'm no doctor but don't over complicate it. I gather that you've probably been eating pretty clean vegetables so just cut that shit out and eat only animal products. take it up a notch and shake your rancher's hand.

if you're eating ONLY animal products raised by people you know, you can't mess up
A friend of mine started keto first before moving on to carnivore. An aunt and uncle are now carnivores from Atkins and they’ve said nothing but good things about it (lost weight, lowered their triglycerides and lowered blood pressure).

I would start in small doses and go from there. Good luck!
The Carnivore Code by Paul Saladino, this is a great book on how the human body works. There is also some suggestions on different levels of carnivore, and shall we say some historical evidence of human eating habits.
Happy to help any way I can. You really should look into Don Layman’s work. Protein is incredibly important. And not all protein is created equal. Your fat soluble vitamins are significantly more bioavailable in animals as well as B12. I highly recommend an animal based diet.
 Your waking up that’s good
Once done, post back with honest feedback 🙏
I have been on a loose paleo diet for years. This is carnivore plus fruit (minimal), vegetables and nuts. It unquestionably makes me feel and look better. I imagine carnivore will have similar results, I just can’t eat that much meat. There does seem to be a consensus that if you dive straight into carnivore your bowels will be quite loose for around a week. Best wishes.
I tried cutting out meat and dairy for a 8 months because I didn’t feel great. I then developed health problems so severe that I had to leave my job. I started eating a diet where most of my calories were from meat and eggs (still with cooked veggies, mostly potatoes, and some leafy greens) and literally all my health problems dissipated with time.
Wow, this is incredible. How did the body adjust starting meat again?
It was a little tough on the stomach at first, and was a little backed up for a couple weeks but nothing too bad. Honestly was smoother transition than I thought. I started mostly with eggs and boiled chicken. Now I eat eggs and beef more than anything. I also grow my own potatoes (super easy to grow) and eat potatoes most days.
 Sounds really good! Thank you!
Tried vegetarian a few years, gained weight. To much carbs from grains and always hungry. I ended going for advice and now eat mainly meat with some veggies. Feel much better, well fed after a meal.
Check out 'Metabolic Typing'

Good luck.🙏

Eat carbs, feel full, then sugar dip and rush comes with more eating. Something like that how it works. A shitty cycle. Full belly but still hungry. Bob sang it. Nevermind if he was a vegetarian or vegan ;)
Few times a month I might eat some old strains grains in a porridge or some bread of spelt oats, sour dough style. If I'm still craving after a meal I add some more fat the next time, like butter or coconut oil. I learn what works as I go.

I'm not on the carnivore diet myself but I do eat a lot of meat. My advice would be to keep it simple like eating the leanest beef (tenderloin, top sirloin, and flanks), pork loin and tenderloin, and chicken you can find. I do all my food shopping at local farmers markets. They ALWAYS have the best quality meats. None of that chemical garbage that they put in meats from chain food stores.
I need to look up all the different meat you just described 🫣 yes, that is the big problem living in a big city like Berlin. There are very little local farmers.
Hopefully, some of these farmers markets are within walking distance. Here's a good meal plan if you decide to get serious about the carnivore diet.

from what i understood, in the beginning for about a month you can eat as much fatty meats until you are comfortably stuffed. try not to eat a few hours before going to sleep for better sleep quality. i have been doing that for over a month now and it felt great. i mostly ate beef and maybe once a week chicken, deer, fish, lamb and pig, lots of himalaya salt and water. i had some diarrhea in the beginning but it passed after a few days.
i am now confident that i can reverse some medical issues continuing that diet.
Wow! And what’s for Breakfast 😂😅 I got here so many Feedback Im very curious and actually definitely giving it a try 🙏
for breakfast, i sometimes have fried bacon and eggs, or smashed softboiled eggs with butter but most days i just skipped it.
don’t have any experiences with the carnivore diet but would be very interested of which kind of inflammation you are referring and how did you recognize? which distances are you running regarding improving performance?

regarding fatigue it helped me a lot to trust Dr Michael Nehls and supplement Lithiumorotat which is not existent anymore in any food, some waters have it but very very rarely: https://michael-nehls.de/infos/lithium/
Thanks for your feedback. Training for the marathon currently… but yeah it’s intense. The knee hurts and the skin got pretty bad.
 Great drawing! True
