Has anyone ever tried hosting a blue sky instance yet? It would be kind of interesting to see what would happen if we spun up a Bitcoin/ nostr instance.
My guess is it would probably go a lot like the Fediverse where we would be siloed to our own instance pretty quickly because people would block us like crazy. But it could be a fun experiment nonetheless.

So what browser is everyone using this month?
I'm currently using Vivaldi because I think it has the best tab grouping functions of any browser out there. I've been kind of debating switching over to Floorp again for a little while because it's Firefox based and has work station like tab groupings. And I kind of refuse to use Brave. Are there any new browsers out there? Also kind of debating setting up on Googled Chromium again, but again that's kind of a setup process to get things just right.

It's interesting. You need a provider. Sometimes an indexer can help. I don't think indexers are totally necessary, but they help find content. and then you need a client to grab whatever topics are subscribed to.
So far, with a couple days I've been using it again, the primary advantage I can see is ripping fast downloads. And I'm actually having an easier time finding content that I was having a harder time finding on most public trackers.
I'm mostly just experimenting right now. I paid for six months of access. And if I don't like it by the end of six months, then I won't continue to pay. But it was cheap to get started.

That's pretty much my exact use case. If I'm having trouble figuring out a programming problem that I'm not that great on, I can usually plop my shitty code in there and it gets me something that at least works.
Also use it for website copy and business related shit that I don't really want to write myself because I'm terrible at using a business tone.
Not really, at least in my mind, e-cash privacy is great, but it doesn't really solve any form of custodial problem. So if someone is using custodial lightning on top of custodial e-cash, then it's just one big custodial potential rug clusterfuck. And Monero, as much as people hate on it, is easy to use, and doesn't rely on so many layers of Potential rugs.

One thing that genuinely confuses me, and this isn't just from Bitcoiners, this is all across the political spectrum, leftist, Republican, whatever, everyone seems to recognize that we have a legitimate problem in the US when it comes to our voting system and who represents us.
