The bull market for bitcoin is the bear market for nostr...

Is that fair to say? šŸ¤”

Can nostr attract AND retain new users during price chat frenzies? I have my doubts. I'll look at the stats. šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

I could be totally wrong, just my suspicion.

I'm not even convinced it can retain existing users at times like this. šŸ¤”

bull markets are terrible for content generally

My twitter feed is totally unaffected

Iā€™m an outcast so have no idea

 it's a catch-22

common folk are more attracted to price action content, which makes the posters more likely to post that kind of stuff, rather than really niche and specific content

This might be true on nostr.

This is not true outside of bitcointwitter culture (which is where we are lol)

 yes

Price-hyped and politics bullshit is definitely making me stay off of nostr more. Which is probably a good thing because I can focus on other shit. šŸ˜‚

True. Nostr is the cure to phone addiction. This is the greatest selling point. :)

'Nostr: it's so boring you'll want to throw your phone in the sea'

It's a good question, but I went through the data of one of my websites over 20 years and I've stacked more sats from 1 year on NOSTR and the Fiat value isn't even worth discussing. I've invested more in 20 years than I did buying Bitcoin and for sure it was the precursor to the time we are in now.

NOSTR is where Bitcoin was 10 years ago and where Linux was 21 years ago.

It's very good and it's also not as easy as showing up and blabbing in someone else's "ecosystem".
