I agree with all of this but also think that most people don't use bunkers or extensions either. They'll use nsec.app or enter their nsec. Most people don't use browser extensions I've found over the past year. This was wild to me.
nsec.app a user friendly bunker!
I agree it all needs to be easier. The hard part is getting my developer to work on it 🥹
Ultimately most users will use Nests via other apps such as Nostur or Snort, and soon Damus, Amethyst, and Primal.

There's a near DVM that shows the latest note and only the one latest note from each of your follows. It would help in these situations. I however do not see it on the feed marketplace yet.
A decentralized in name only protocol 🤣

Maybe just the first view / above the scroll. I think being informative is good and the whole page does a great job, but that first view to me just screams wordy and technical. It's not, and I don't mind reading it, but when coming from a non technical point of view, I think it's a bit much.
Now that would be kind of bad ass. You would have a fully offline Nostr experience then.
Not everyone would want this though, due to device storage constraints.
It would be nice to have this as an opt-in and then additionally a way to purge notes not from my npub or of a certain age not from my npub.
Strike is a good wallet to use until you have enough in there that warrants a withdrawal to cold storage. Maybe that's 1M sats. You can also use it as a general spending wallet/hot wallet too.
They do allow you access to your seed words. I think it's an okay wallet for spending, but it's a hot wallet connected to the Internet. Even though it's non custodial and you control the keys. It is still a wallet that you have to access while connected to the Internet.
To truly #grownostr and onboard the next wave of users, we not only need the tools, but we need proper marketing and visuals too. It's all part of the onboarding package to not only offer them the tools, but to make it visually pleasing too, enhancing their user experience. Most people won't stick around just because they're being told that they're early and the experience will get better and improve over time.

We already have two companies killing it in the Bitcoin mining space. Coal reclamation and nuclear - the first of it's kind. If this goes through, we'll be a large player in the space IMO. Bullish AF. I emailed the representative 👀
Found it.
I am introducing legislation to provide Pennsylvania’s Treasurer and pension funds with additional tools to protect against the inflation that has eroded the purchasing power of our state and its retirees. This legislation would permit the Treasurer to invest up to 10 percent of the State General Fund, the Rainy Day Fund, and the State Investment Fund in Bitcoin, a digital asset increasingly recognized as a hedge against inflation.
In recent years, many financial institutions and sovereign governments, including the United States, have invested in Bitcoin to shield their portfolios from economic volatility. The world’s largest investment firms—such as BlackRock, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton—now offer Bitcoin options, and states like Wisconsin have also made strategic investments in digital assets. Studies suggest that holding a small percentage of reserves in Bitcoin can contribute to a well-diversified and resilient portfolio.
Inflation has impacted Pennsylvania’s purchasing power by nearly 20 percent over the past 4 years, and we need solutions that can offer stability in uncertain economic times. Bitcoin, which has appreciated significantly over the years, can help Pennsylvania keep pace with inflation and economic change.
I hope you will consider co-sponsoring this important legislation to support our state’s financial stability and the long-term economic security of its residents.

Awesome. Keep spreading the orange pill. And after you onboard them to Bitcoin, work on the purple pill next. I'm sure many Nostriches would love to zap new business owners, businesses posting about their journey, etc.
FYI: i am using chachi.chat on my desktop computer and on mobile im using the 0xchat mobile app for Android. 0xchat also exists for iOS. chachi.chat and 0xchat are both using NIP-29 so they're interoperable.
The only data that would be available would be whatever metrics Google and Apple give to app developers such as OS version and region or country. Web apps would have similar data, too. That's really it. By its nature being a decentralized protocol, there is no Central repository for statistics and demographic data. Plus most developers don't want to collect any of that information as they know its potential can lead to bad things.
