I would say either of the two except B.

B comes across as too generic, ital could be any number of alt twitter's, no info there and I wouldn't click or scroll beyond that.

I think there's a lot of generic design slop everywhere and it's really not eye catching at all. This could be an advert for a bank account or a migraine relief tablet etc etc. it's become very background.

So at least A and C actually have some info to read.

I think I general nostr people should look at something like farcaster's pages and marketing. Would you click on it, scroll more? Probably not. That is how a non-nostr user sees the nostr equivalent. Farcaster marketing also looks and reads like generic slop (slight aside: is everyone writing using ChatGPT or does it just seem like this?). People see slop and ignore it.

It's quite a difficult task actually. I would probably pick the least 'slick' slop options available as a general rule.
Go have a look at a farcaster marketing or landing page or whatever.

You can it, generic AI art slop, purple colours, ChatGPT written copy.

'decentralised... Protocol .... Freedom.... technology....'

Maybe your think something along the lines of 'blah blah blah blah, heard it all before'.

That is how people see nostr too.
I remember the marketing for mastodon't. it had screenshots showing accounts from now dead instances, some of which were dedicated to gay furry porn, and then the lead developer was begging for more grant money. so don't do that lol
I've never been to the Farcaster homepage. I would not go there because I know it's a scam and a waste of my time.
Not really my point tho lol
@Derek Ross point of exercise is to identify what works well, and what doesnt.

For instance, per @Linda discovery “decentralized” keyword has been converted to snake oil by the VC fundsd crypto scammers.

Perhaps nostr should avoid this marketing at the very least on landing pages to stay as far as possible away from the scammers, and the scam funding VCs.
She's absolutely right. Every time I mention decentralized people say oh I don't like cryptocurrency.
Yeah, I'm saying people are quick to scan and turn off when they see these words and associated aesthetics.

You have to bear in mind some people aren't coming from bitcointwitter.
B is low on info but at least it has tinge of weird. A & C could be any startup's page about any product. Our aesthetics have to relate our philosophy more than the words imo.
Not seeing anything 'weird' in B. The aesthetic, colour palette, and words are all pretty generic (imo!).
