 Be honest

Which of these seems like a better pitch to a normie?

a)
When you spend Bitcoin, it creates tiny capital gains taxes, which nobody wants to keep track of. So to avoid this, when you buy Bitcoin on a KYC exchange, you should then mix it with hackers and criminals, which immediately lowers it's value, and can be seized if you deposit it back on the exchange. But this is just to then deposit it into a channel, which you might want to self-host with $500 worth, but it could be a smaller amount with the right non-custodial wallet. Make sure to backup your channels by saving that information, in-case the lightning wallet provider screws you over, which happened with a few US-based ones during the previous crackdowns. Now if the other person is online, you can send them layer 2 coins, which can't be traced. So you can argue to the tax authorities that you spent the original layer 1 Bitcoin when you mixed it with criminal coins. And then they should be will be willing to accept that you owe no tax, even though Bitcoin's price went to the moon. Just ignore the fact that they jailed other people for tax evasion, because those convicted felons didn't do it right. Those other people didn't separate their identity from the activity of the coins, but you're going to master this better than them, despite no experience. Because you can count on me to teach you. Next I'll go over how you can receive coins for your business, and then separate the fluctuating value from that business. Bitcoin is freedom.

b)
Use Monero. There are liquid global peer-to-peer markets with reliable arbitrators, so from the perspective of your bank, you're just paying some random dude. But even if you get it on a KYC exchange in your name, the moment you buy it, it becomes completely untraceable, and so you can say you spent or lost it, and effortlessly pay no tax. It costs 1 penny to send.

But why would you want a Pixel 6a?

--Great for an easy second phone, we sell them for just $245

--Reduce having to send large amounts of cryptocurrency, it's low risk

--Maybe you aren't ready to switch over every app of iPhone or stock android, but you can still get the benefits of a degoogled phone for your personal apps like Nostr, Signal, SimpleX, Bitcoin, Monero, ect.

--Isolate your work or personal life. Or some high risk apps.

--The newer models have physical hardware for location tracking, with "find my phone", that COULD potentially be a hardware backdoor. 6a doesn't have this

--GrapheneOS still will have 2-3 years of security updates for the 6a. You're telling me you're gonna use the Pixel 9 for three years? Get outta here, by then we'll have Pixel 99999

--Google is abusive and releases new models rapidly, that have very little benefit to the end user, so you're enabling them to profit from ripping you off.

 Ethereum Tyranny Agenda:

Ethereum Name Service is now integrated with Google search. You can search an .eth name and get the balance.

It's sad to see the ETH community cheer on the coming surveillance to rip away our freedoms.

The purpose of decentralized systems & cryptocurrency is to resist the banks and big tech, which should trigger an adversarial response. These VCs that back ETH projects, often have a history of funding the centralized oppressive systems and rebellion simultaneously.

Here's the agenda:
1. Farcaster's Warpcast now requires tokens to enter each community.

2. Force people to use KYC exchanges to get these tokens the devs print

3. Farcaster doesn't pay the hubs to store the data, so not only can the devs leech all the money, but there's no incentive to resist a takedown if you make no money to keep content up.

Therefore,
4. The empire can track who is speaking on "censorship resistant" platforms and cancel them tech-wise or in-real-life.

5. And if the ETH devs resist, they risk having their coins delisted from KYC exchanges. This forces compliance
I 100% agree with you bro. That's why I'm shocked to see that Brave Browser REMOVED support for IPFS.

Ethereum name service costs $3 to update, who is going to pay this for each blog post? That's why we keep our static PGP key on SimplifiedPrivacy.eth but no other content

However, Solana names are cheaper to update, and faster to access queries. But Brave was the only one resolving those names.

This move by Brave shows the industry doesn't get it.
They are happy about Google search balances, but not the real use case of websites.
you can host any static file served in a web browser
you should point it to IPFS, not regular IPs
hey I actually replied too quickly before, you can serve up the json file for the name... but the nostr client would need to be configured to check it off ENS. Even if you made it, you'd have to convince your fellow nostr family members to use it as well. The good news though is Session messenger already works like this now
Both the left & right support digital IDs

It's critical to the UN tyranny agenda, that the CBDC is linked to some form of digital ID

Donald Trump markets this as "input output biometric ID", to stop illegal immigration. He used to be for a physical wall, but now it's facial recognition, backed by Palantir AI with Peter Thiel giving him money.

The left markets this as "vaccine passports", to save lives from horrible infectious disease. And to distribute "universal basic income".

It doesn't matter what form this ID comes in, please my brother and friend, resist it with everything you got.

They will promise you money.
They will promise you access to something.
They will promise to solve immigration.

But the only thing it will solve, is their current problem of free speech.

[Shoutout to the: Independent Media Alliance, with Whittney Webb, Ryan Christian, and Iain Davis. We stand with you]
There already are physical IDs. Digital IDs do not solve any problem that physical IDs do not... but open the door for many nasty things
I don't think that Libertarians and conservatives should support online voting. It should be using physical ID cards that already exist in-person. They don't even do ID for voting now, and the physical cards exist.

For bank identification, when you register a bank account, you already have to show physical ID. Why do you need it every time you login, if you already showed it to set it up? If you're talking about security, there's already yubikeys and 2FA. There is no logical reason government digital ID is more secure than yubikeys, but the risk to freedom is massive

You're wasting your time with SimpleX, Nostr, Bitcoin, and Monero.

It's all just for show at that point.

Freedom tech on top of a bad base, is like a skyscraper on quick sand.

But there's hope: Linux is free and you're smart.
 Microsoft Tyranny Agenda:

1) Create a culture where you're discriminated against employment unless you have a Linked-In

2) Force you to verify your real details on Linked-In.

3) By agreeing to be on Linked-In, you agree to train AI on your data, and monitor the web of all human interaction

4) Allow radical woke socialists to view your real job details, so they can cancel and control you. This purges "freedom speech" from positions of power.

5) Pressure you take drugs (labeling it a vaccine), to keep the job.

The end goal is to crush freedom, by forcing anyone who isn't self-employed to be cancellable. And by controlling everyone's visible on the platform, they control the flow of funds.

The answer is clear: Start a business, accept cryptocurrency, and communicate through means you control.

 WordPress Civil War!

Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com are fighting in court

The non-profit .org blocked the for-profit .com from accessing critical resources, like plugins from being updated, because they claim they aren't "giving back", in other words, paying money for using the name and trademark.

Who is right? They both suck, I don't care about the complex history! This highlights that external plugins are barely under your control, and wordpress is bloat.

It's bad enough that people rely on some random developer of a third party plugin, but then on top of that, to wonder if the dictator WordPress organization will block your DNS access to that random developer's update? This is essentially allowing the WordPress organization to own your VPS.

--Banks urinate on you with inflation
--FDIC is worthless in an interest rate financial crisis, look at what happened when the Fed jacked last round. Cali banks went bust.
--World Bank and IMF trap the third world in perpetual debt. And you're enabling this slavery by placing value on the promises of the oppressor

The issue with cash is:

--Easy to get robbed
--Harder to track & control your spending
--Still inflation urinates on you, and you get 0 interest.
--Counting large amounts sucks, you're literally all day counting paper from one hand to another? Your hands hurt, you can't jack off.

 Google is Totalitarian.

The police dragged Google’s internal employees out of the building in handcuffs, just to get them to stop protesting.

As we’ll get to in a moment, that’s just the visible physical world, the real censorship you never hear about is digital.

This article directly benefits you, because you need persuasive examples to convince your friends, co-workers, or family to stop using Gmail or docs. It takes two to tango.

In this juicy article, we’ll cover:
a) Election Manipulation
b) Surveillance and Substitution to “Program the population”
c) Removal of Dictionary Translation Words for politics
d) Blocking the keywords “cure cancer”
e) Suppression of small businesses, even unrelated to politics
f) Firing and arresting their own employees

Manipulated Elections

It likely won’t surprise you to hear that Google and it’s employees are among the biggest donors to Kamala Harris, with well over a million in donations, but yet they have given zero to Donald Trump. [1] But what you may not be aware of, is even mid-level employees are confessing to abusive election manipulation.

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/donations-by-candidate.jpeg

Ad Manipulation

In a leaked viral video, Google’s Growth strategy employee Dakota Leazer, openly admits to a stranger on a dinner date that the company actively manipulates the ad results to favor Kamala Harris. Their manipulation strategy is to pretend that ads that Kamala is paying for, are from third parties such as PBS to hide the bias in her favor. In this leaked video, Leazer confesses the company looks to ABUSE FEAR tactics in anti-Trump ads to make more money. [2]

Supression

There are so many whistleblowers we can not even cover them all. Zach Vorhies, was an engineer who worked for Google’s AI and search divisions. He was so shocked by their totalitarian manipulation of search results, that he leaked over 900 pages of Google slides, emails, and memos to the DoJ. These documents show how they purposefully surpress certain news outlets, viewpoints, and data. [3a]

SEO is a Lie

Many people mistakenly think that Google ranks news articles based on how many keywords or inbound links they get or match. Vorhies leaked internal slides clearly demonstrate the truth behind SEO, which is that each news outlet is given a direct ranking score, based on management making a subjective opinion on the “channel’s quality”. The largest factor in the rankings is how much it aligns with the political views they wish to push: [3b]

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/google_rating_classifier.jpeg

Removing Translation Words

The cataylst for Zach Vorhies to speak out, was when he saw Google removing translation words from the Arabic to English translation dictonary, for the purpose of making Donald Trump’s tweets seem crazy. Then in coordination with the legacy media, the 25th Amendment could be invoked to argue Trump was unfit for the presidency, because he was tweeting nonsense. [3b]

Profit from Violence

As I have pointed out previously, Google is a military cloud contractor. Given what we learned from both Vorhies and Leazer’s testimony, it is not unreasonable to think that, in the future, they would remove Russian or Arabic translation words to prevent peace, as Google profits from war.

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/google-programs-people.PNG

Program People

Also within these leaked documents, was clear references to “programming people”. As Vorhies explained in an interview on the Jim Rutt podcast, the goal was to serve the user the inputs (via search results), and have them produce their own content (writing/podcasts/videos) as the outputs. Then this user produced content could be promoted by the algorithm, to reinforce the belief that the agenda Google’s executives picked was widespread and societal. [3b]

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/program-people.jpg

Fake Buttons

Zach Vorhies also leaked internal memos suggesting that a method to make users feel comfortable with censorship, was to give them fake buttons, to give users a false sense of control. The idea was to give the users fake dials that didn’t work, or did some minor trivial change. So the user felt like they were still in control, even though the censorship remained. [3b]

Cure Cancer Blacklisted

Vorhies slides discuss the blacklisted search phrases that can’t produce real results on Youtube. Shockingly this includes “cure cancer” and “cancer cure”. Not any particular person with bad information, but the entire idea. Likely this is because Big Pharma buys search ads.

Selling Manipulation

By talking about this, I risk having our entire business suppressed.

Moonshot CVE

Google’s Jigsaw division has partnered with Moonshot CVE to sell search engine manipulation services to the US government. They openly store IP addresses, addresses, names (if they can get it), and search queries for the general population. And then if they label you an “extremist”, forward your traffic to what they deem to be the truth. [9][10]

Extremists

And what defines “extremist views”? They pretend that it’s just violence, but it extends far beyond that to include vaccine hesitancy, researching Waco, distrust of harder immigration policies, and gender views. They are comparing violent jihad extremists to questioning the covid “vaccines”, immigration, or gender surgery on social media. And treating them the same as terrorists in their redirect program. [10][11]

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/vaccine-disinfo.png

Leaked Github code shows they use Chrome Browser to track real time clicks and movement on pages, which makes it easier to manipulate you: [5]

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/chrome-visits.png

Even Gmail

Some mistakenly think that because they aren’t a public Youtube figure, they will be allowed to speak. But Google surpresses even Gmail from eldlerly citizens. A 76-year-old woman in Jacksonville is suing Google for deplatforming her about an hour after she emailed members of her pro-life group calling for a peaceful Catholic Mass and gathering in front of A Woman’s Choice, an abortion business in Florida. [4a]

11 Years Lost

“Trudy Perez-Poveda says Google targeted her after she sent the correspondence through Gmail. Google refused to allow Perez-Poveda to access her more than 11-year trove of stored emails, photographs, calendars, contacts and other data, her attorneys say.” [4b]

Even not political

Github Leak

Some mistakenly think that because they aren’t talking about politics, they will be given a fair opportunity in life. However, leaked Github API code demonstrates that Google’s algorithm openly favors larger corporations for SEO, even if the smaller blogger offered more specialized expertise. [5]

Even worse, the leaked code showed there was literally a sandbox for smaller websites, despite Google employees previously denying this.

Oppress Small Businesses

Detailed and elaborate research from the small business “HouseFresh” on their own SEO, demonstrates Google’s incredible bias against smaller competitors, even if their prices are lower and their product is objectively of higher quality. [6]

Degrade Search

In a different study entitled “Is Google degrading search?”, Yelp’s statistical researcher, Tim Wu, focused on eCommerce and found Google promoted it’s own content above organic results, but when objectively tested, audiences were 45% more likely to engage with search results that were organically determined. [7]

Google is a raging hypocrite because they both:
a) Manipulate the results to favor Democrat politicians, who supposedly want to end inequality
b) Manipulate the results to favor large businesses at the expense of smaller ones, which literally creates inequality

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/big-tech/google-totalitarian/images/protest-google.webp

Silence their own employees

Over 50 internal employees were fired for protesting Google’s work to design AI that murders Palestinians by drone. [8a] Eight had to be arrested to get them to stop protesting. [8b]

Only after the police dragged these employees out in handcuffs, and Google’s management released statements about removing opinions from the workplace, was the company able to continue their profitable Palestinian AI-drone slaughter.

Let’s bring it home…

Google’s only power exists in your mind.

It’s only because you use their services, do they have any control over you. It’s hard to avoid given other people’s choices, but not impossible. This article gave you some sources and ammo to persuade those who try to force you. But you’ve got to spin it in terms the person you’re trying to convince cares about. I believe in you.

 It doesn't surprise me that,

SimpleX is under attack by corrupt liar Wired:

"Neo-Nazis Are Fleeing Telegram for Encrypted App SimpleX Chat"
https://www.wired.com/story/neo-nazis-flee-telegram-encrypted-app-simplex/

What DOES surprise me is the reaction of developer Evgeny Poberezkin,

Here's the quote from the article:

<quote>
"And Poberezkin believes that the current limitations of his technology will mean these groups will eventually abandon SImpleX.

“SimpleX is a communication network, rather than a service or a platform, where users can host their own servers, like in Open Web, so we were not aware that extremists have been using it,” says Poberezkin. “We never designed groups to be usable for more than 50 users and we’ve been really surprised to see them growing to the current sizes despite limited usability and performance. We do not think it is technically possible to create a social network of a meaningful size in the SimpleX network.”"
</end quote>

This is surprising because Evgeny told us that groups could scale by reducing the reliance on a single invite link, so anyone could enter via any group member or "super members".

In fact, even from his own tweets, just 2 days prior:

<quote>
"We agree that once group can scale, they will help growth."
</quote>

This is the danger of doing cypherpunk stuff, with government money venture capital and registered LLCs. At the slightest push from the mainstream media, he changes his tune.

I like Evgeny. He's a good guy. And I DON'T blame him for trying to stop his company from being associated with bad actors. But we need to be honest here, he's trying to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to be a cypherpunk, but collect the paycheck of a corporation.

What he should have said to Wired is: "This technology is like the printing press. It improves our lives and offers all of this freedom. But once it's made, the inventor can't control what people say. Do you really want to live in a world without the press, Wired?"
The account "Monero Revolution" was suspended from Twitter,

 SPECIAL SALE:
As Monero is delisted from Kraken (for the EU),

Simplified Privacy jumps into the fray, to buy XMR, by selling discounted hardware & services

We’re offering $10 off your Phone or VPS combo purchase, to offer stability to the market and defy oppression.

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/posts/cryptocurrency/kraken-eu/images/house-clouds.png

First, if new exchanges aren't listing it, then basic logic would tell us that there's only so many times they can delist XMR to cause a price-propaganda event, and eventually the bad news is priced in. So just hold and ignore it for a week.

And the Kraken insiders sold prior to the announcement, that’s why XMR fell more than other coins in the general market. So if you sell now, you’re essentially letting them urinate on your wallet and manipulate your emotions.

Second, to prove my first point, if you don't want to hold your XMR, I will accept it right now today for a Phone or Email setups at a discount. You want to get rid of it? Come on down, and get a completely off-the-radar DeGoogled Pixel or an awesome VPS setup to be self-sovereign with all your communications (email, xmpp, docs, ect)

The invasion of your privacy is only first beginning, if you do nothing and sit by, it’s only getting worse. Stop just liking memes and complaining, and start taking action.

These political activists on Twitter and Reddit mouth off,

But if people were using PGP arbitration, Monero/lightning, Nostr/Bastyon, Arweave websites, YaCy search engines, Self-hosted emails & docs, Linux, and XMPP/SimpleX/Session, then:

What does it matter whose in charge? Governments would have no way to control the population. The printing money would be meaningless.

Given this technology already exists,

Then:
The main obstacle is cultural.

Therefore:
If you refuse to use freedom technology, or even worse try to haze it, you aid the oppressor in the war for our minds.

 Being pro-privacy, means being anti-war,

As war is the justification for invading your privacy..

And if,
War is defined as the state engaged in violence,

Then,
It not logical for you support Israel blowing up Lebanese civilians' pagers... As you'd literally be saying: "The government shouldn't tap phones, but they can blow them up"
Random civilians pagers blew up that has nothing to do with terrorism. There was zero targeting, they just wrecked the supply chain.

So I can blow up your electronics because you're in the same country as some random criminal?

Timeshift for Linux has saved my ass 100 times

This is a backup tool using rsync, where you can "go back in time" to the previous version of your software. (like before an upgrade or change)

It doesn't directly touch the user files, like say a text file. But if your software gets rolled back, it might affect files that software uses (like a messenger)

There's both GUI and CLI (you can use CLI if you get locked out of the graphical desktop bootup). So then you'd select "Recovery Mode" in GRUB bootup, and then using that command line interface do a timeshift backup restore. Ask me questions on it! I want to help you
yeah it's the same concept, but I think immutable gives even more control
So, I have my #Vanadium browser homepage set to check.torproject.org, and proxy set to use #Orbot...
Under global wireless settings, make sure Orbot is set to "Always On" Then zero traffic should be going through anything but tor, regardless of any browser settings.

If it's still doing it, then it's a bug in Orbot, not the browser. Did you get Orbot from F-Droid Guardian Repo? is it apk?
There's an "always on setting", for ALL global vpns in the network settings. It's the gear icon under the network settings looking at Orbot. It would be the same one for a regular VPN, you can test with a free one if you got no subscription. like calyx or something

It doesn't matter if you're NOT racist: You have to display the Woke emojis or be terminated,

Epic Games sues Google & Samsung for blocking it's new store

Epic Games makes the fun Fortnite game,
Samsung made the physical phone,
Google made the Play Store to leech huge fees, like 20%

Originally Epic sued Google, and Epic WON for their Monopoly of the Play store and ridiculous fees. So Epic made their own "store" to distribute games. [1]

Despite the court ruling against them, corrupt Google and Samsung automatically block the Epic Games app, unless the user is smart enough to figure out how to turn it on in the settings. [2]

Google's propaganda team spews dribble about this being for security purposes, but as we reported earlier, the Play store has such rampant malware, that Google had to abandon it's security bounties because it couldn't afford to keep up. [3]

Now Epic games AGAIN is taking Google and Samsung to court to sue them over blocking their new store.

Protonmail & Monero both have the motto of "Privacy of Default"

The difference is that if everyone used Proton,
It would be centralizing the metadata to a single legal entity that responds to requests, and controls the web app’s password prompt.

While as if everyone used Monero,
well...

privacy by default
 trust it for what?

private payments, no
metamask, no
but for DNS or apps, maybe. would have to see the use-case
logic is to point out that proton encourages centralization
and they are not doing "real" PGP
The run a website which serves you the password prompt.
Do you inspect this source code every single time you login?
Yes it's like any other web browser app, so you shouldn't be using web apps. We encourage people to use CLIENTS. Nostr clients interact with relays in a way that assumes they are hostile. The relay can't see the password.

While as protonmail is purposefully pushing people to their web app, because thunderbird or normal email clients don't work. PGP should be done on the end client, not kept in the cloud.
I am being respectful to educate you, but it's possible this conversation could go downhill if you continue to fail to understand the concept.

Would you agree that a Nostr client is different than inserting your private Nostr key into a web app text box?

If you are capable of understanding this,
Then how do you not grasp that PGP on your end client, is radically different than inserting the PGP private key into a web app text box??

Protonmail is propaganda, changing the definition of end-to-end. It’s end-to-cloud.
Is proton better than gmail? Yeah
do we need perfect? no. something is better than nothing

I’m just saying I’m trying to promote decentralization, people on smaller servers doing email. If proton is encouraging people to only use their app, which doesn’t translate to real clients, it encourages centralization. Especially if one can't use external PGP with them, unless it's literally copy pasted as text

We all want the same things, just disagree over what’s the best way to do it. I appreciate your time regardless
For the email setups we do for customers, it’s Debian OS, FOSS Mailu on the backend, and any client can be used such as Thunderbird which has PGP. K9 for android. Also we put on the VPS the web client SnappyMail. Having a web client is less of a big deal IF you’re running the VPS. SnappyMail is a hell of a lot faster to load than Proton, and the tools are decent.

If you want guidance on the setup, where we have no access and just tell you commands, we can do that as well, https://simplifiedprivacy.com/email-cloud-combo/index.html

Do you struggle to convince politically-left normies to use Nostr ?

Do your left-leaning friends insist you talk to them on WhatsApp?

You try to explain that it’s censorship resistant, but they are so brainwashed that they think anything being censored must be fake news. Well guess what, now even criticism of the right is being censored!

Hackers got new documents on the Trump campaign. And in there is controversial material on JD Vance. Now Meta is blocking all links to the documents. While you can point out to your friends that when Wikileaks had dirt on Hillary Clinton it was allowed to stay up.

Tell your friends that you want to send the link, but you can’t. And if they care about the “fabric of their democracy”, they have to join Nostr and encrypted messengers like SimpleX, Session, or Signal.

 Never talk to the Police

In his viral video with 20 million views,

James Duane makes the surprising case for why you should never talk to the police:

A few of his many arguments are:
--They can and do lie about anything, including the law

--They can and do take things way out of context to hurt you, including exaggerating even your tone or pauses

--Even if you think you've done nothing wrong, it can and does lead to convictions:

--You may have unknowingly committed a crime, and you just admitted to it.

--You may bring up erroneous but believable evidence even if you're innocent

His core thesis is:
There is NOTHING TO GAIN by talking to the police, You CAN'T talk your way out of being arrested.

What you say CAN'T be used to HELP you, it CAN'T be submitted at trial, the judge would dismiss it as "hearsay". Police and lawyers have confirmed, that NEVER ONCE did talking to the police help avoid an arrest.

But there is EVERYTHING TO LOSE, as they can twist and contort literally anything you say into a crime.

Numerous legal scholars and even police officers have agreed with his views, causing it go viral even though the mainstream media will never tell you about it. Get this suppressed knowledge now, and smash the repost to help our fellow nostr family members,

Meta fined more than $100 million for storing passwords in plaintext.

The Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) announced the fine against Meta’s EU branch, saying the company “failed to notify”. the DPC that it “inadvertently” stored user passwords without encryption in 2019.

Facebook stored hundreds of millions of passwords in plain text:

 Warning:
!!!! Huge Critical Linux Vulnerability !!!!!

Remote code execution.

Key Points:

A critical, unauthenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in GNU/Linux systems, rated 9.9, is about to be disclosed. [2]

The flaw has been known for over a decade but was disclosed to developers only three weeks ago by bug hunter Simone Margaritelli.

Margaritelli's upcoming write-up will include a proof-of-concept exploit and technical details.

While the bug has no CVE assigned yet, it is expected to need at least three and ideally six CVEs.

Canonical and RedHat have confirmed the severity of the issue, but there's no fix yet.

Entry Points from Simone Margaritelli:

WAN / public internet: a remote attacker sends an UDP packet to port 631. No authentication whatsoever.

LAN: a local attacker can spoof zeroconf / mDNS / DNS-SD advertisements [1]

Also about to post a sweet special on the Pro 9
thanks for writing in. can i get the proof link?
 They ask:
"Hey you're doing security, is this 2FA secure for my banking?"

Me:
Don't use fiat banks. The government is typing a numbers on a screen, it's purely propaganda that it has value.

They ask:
"Is this anti-virus secure?"

Me:
Don't use Windows, Linux doesn't need anti-virus.

They ask:
"Is it a good time to buy cryptocurrency? Can I make a lot?"

Me:
Don't buy to just hold it, use it for cash, instead of credit cards.

They ask:
"What's your phone number?"

Me:
I don't use SMS, it costs money and is completely unencrypted and insecure. So you're paying to get less, while as there are many free and easy-to-use encrypted messengers, I can show you one.

They ask:
"You really think people will adopt this?"

Me:
Where's the candles? Where's the horse & carriage? Where's the bucket to take a shit in? Oh you accept technology changed the past, but you are pushing for fiat banks, windows, or SMS because you're married to the network effect of yesterday?
 The Myth of Airplane Mode

You're being lied to. Airplane mode does NOT hide your location. Google and Apple continue to collect it, by seeing what WiFi endpoints are near you, and then figuring out where you are through a process known as "WiFi Triangulation". [1]

Further, phones have two "brains", and the part that connects to the cell towers does NOT have to obey Airplane mode. This is called the "baseband modem", and airplane mode is an API request from the main motherboard to this modem, ASKING if it would PLEASE consider killing service.

And even worse, the baseband doesn't even need a SIM card. You can call 911 emergency without service, without wifi, just standing outside. Calyx Institute devs LIE about this on Matrix, but dial it and hear your local operator tell you the truth.

In fact, you don't even need to be the government to abuse this. Ralf-Philipp Weinmann of the University of Luxembourg demonstrated with just around $1500 in equipment, ANY RANDOM civilian hacker, who doesn't even work for the telecom, can FAKE being the cellphone tower near you. Source:
https://comsecuris.com/papers/woot12-final24.pdf

This is all why it's so critical to use GrapheneOS which helps against these types of attacks, and to buy your phone anonymously in cryptocurrency, because if you don't, it's essentially like a dog collar. At their will, they can see where you are, who you're standing near (if they have a phone too), and even turn the mics on to record.

My abusive competitors in the degoogled phone industry all charge way above Google's official store, and Google's search gives them traffic to make it harder to switch. For example on the model 8:

AbovePhone.com
Pixel 8: $999

DigitalPrivacy.shop
Pixel 8: $729

Google Official Store
Pixel 8: $599

While as I sell them BELOW the official store:

Simplified Privacy
Pixel 8: $499

PLUS you get a consult on its use, Why? Because I am on a mission. I need to get these phones, and the privacy that goes with it, in the hands of as many people as possible. And if Google search wants to oppress and censor our website, so be it. You and you alone deserve your data:

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/they-see-everything/index.html

& [1] WiFi Triangulation: https://simplifiedprivacy.com/googles-surveillance-the-shocking-truth/index.html
Actually you'll be happy to hear, that it's use is nearly identical to a regular Android. I know you said you use an iPhone, but Android is not that difficult, it's just F-Droid and Google Play for the store. And most of the same apps.

You would benefit from this educational video from our team:

What would you add?
Protonmail is propaganda, as it encourages centralization. Yes the self-host VPS provider can see it, but so can proton. This puts all eggs in one basket, which is a corrupt and easily accessed basket. Please see the following I wrote earlier:

~

First, Proton is NOT end-to-end encrypted. As per own their blog:

https://proton.me/support/proton-mail-encryption-explained
(Please note, I only changed the CAPS)

Quote:
"The email is encrypted in transit using TLS. It is THEN UNENCRYPTED and re-encrypted (by us) for storage on our servers using zero-access encryption. Once zero-access encryption has been applied, no-one except you can access emails stored on our servers (including us). It is NOT end-to-end encrypted, however, and might be accessible to the sender’s email service"
</end quote>

Second, they do scan it for spam and phising.
They repeat this with:

Source: https://proton.me/blog/encrypted-email-spam-filtering

"Emails that come from third party email providers obviously CANNOT be delivered with end-to-end encryption, but upon reaching our mail servers, we will encrypt them with the recipient’s public key before saving the messages(new window). All this is done in memory so that by the time anything is permanently stored to disk, the email is already un-readable to us. This gives us a very limited window to perform spam filtering on incoming messages."

Then they further elaborate,

"Secondly, the message is passed through our customized Bayesian filters which marks suspicious messages as spam.
Next, we generate checksums of incoming messages and check them against a database of known spam messages. If there is a match, we mark the message as spam. The checksums are done in such a way that it is also effective against mutating spam emails."
</end quote>

So they claim to have it unencrypted, then have a "limited time" to stop spam, but then also claim to encrypt it, and then after compare the hash to spam hash. If their own claims were true, then why do they only have a limited time?

Third, they hand over huge amounts of data. If it's encrypted, then what do they have to hand over?

From their own transparency report:
https://proton.me/legal/transparency

"2023
    Number of legal orders: 6,378
    Contested orders: 407
    Orders complied with: 5,971
2022
    Number of legal orders: 6,995
    Contested orders: 1,038
    Orders complied with: 5,957"
</end quote>

While as with a self-host VPS,
With a large amount of effort, the VPS provider could in theory snapshot memory to get access to emails. But this data is being sent through SSL encryption, so passive general surveillance is protected against. It would have to be work (and money wasted) for them to get the data.

sure, we offer setups of this including the domain, first month of the VPS, and a full year of support:

https://simplifiedprivacy.com/email-cloud-combo/index.html

Unlike the other softwares out there, you get more than one service on the VPS,

and at the end, we hand over all passwords
