i usually come across new people on here when they interact with my friends/web-of-trust, but on other platforms it might be from the algo or they reply with something interesting to someone i don’t even follow, which would happen much more often.

 hmmm you probably want to look at bitcoin core directly then. i2pd has a SAM bridge enabled and core config simply takes in the IP/port
