Primal fetches their events from their caching server and I don’t think their caching server supports these events. Or at least I don’t know how to fetch them. 😂
Just sent my first zap using @Coinos NWC with Damus. Awesome, but I do not recommend keeping a lot of funds in your Coinos wallet especially if you’re using NWC. There’s currently no way to set limits or disable an NWC connection string in their wallet. Fun to occasionally load up and send some zaps though. https://i.nostr.build/iVvPSvTcsyY51ebt.jpg
There’s instructions how to do it in nip-57. It kinda sucks though. Not all clients support it and the UX is terrible unless the person zapping is using NWC.
You own 0 bitcoin until you hold your own private keys. Get comfortable moving bitcoin around onchain first though. @BTCsessions has many great tutorials on YouTube.
People here need to spend more time creating than consuming. Nostr is great for making that habit switch cause you can do all kinds of shit on Nostr. It’s more fun to create than consume here.
Tldr moar memes please 🚀
People on the other end will only see your message if they are using a client that supports nip-11 DMs and have set up inbox relays. This problem is solved by getting everyone to start using @0xchat.
I’ve seen someone zap an anonymous DM which is pointless. Anyone can figure out who sent the zap cause you can clearly see who’s talking to each other in the DM. Anon zapping a public note is more private than sending an anon zap on a nip-04 DM.
Wait, so your zap failed, but they still published a zap receipt? And by zap boost you mean they published a kind 1 note, but did a keysend instead of a normal zap?
if that's the demo server, then it's in the hackers wallet. i always told people not to use that thing for anything but testing. they used to turn it on and off all the time. 😂
yes, clients need to implement outbox model. algo code is not in the client and it's not fixed npubs. some people just have a lot of followers so naturally a lot of people interact with their notes and it appears in trending. IIRC @miljan has mentioned that primal 2.0 will have an algo store or something like that so you will have more choices.
