LOL so the plan to help free speech is to direct federal funds away from anyone who claims that misinformation and disinformation exists! Jesus fucking Christ you crypto nerds are so goddamn stupid.
🤣 At your first response "... You know it was created by an agency known for its secrecy because it put its name on it?" 🤣🤣🤣 Masterful trolling 😎
Humanity needs to work on rewarding critical thinking again or we may lose civilization
The US Government is too late. If it was smart, it would have acquired enough hashrate to vote future pull requests and stack sats. I hope it keeps auctioning seized BTC or else that will be its new strategy: blacklisting addresses and txs that come from them. Then, the only way to "clean" those addresses is for the dirty BTC to leave a "clean" government wallet.
Witnesses alerted Secret Service of the shooter on the roof 3 minutes prior to the shooting... And ex-President Trump's ear looks fully intact after getting clipped by a high-powered rifles bullet. This feels so fugazi but I feel for the family of the man who was shot in the head at the rally. God rest his soul.
Claim looks questionable indeed. Why black hat hackers don't use their skillsets to build a legit company and exit with $100 million instead of scrapping in the shadows and risk imprisonment or death for a few million?
""What? You search? You would multiply yourself by ten, by a hundred? You seek followers? Seek zeros!" - Friedrich Nietzsche ("Twilight of the Idols" #14) #Wisdom #Philosophy
There's a disturbing trend where privacy somehow implies criminality. If you use the toilet with the door closed, you care about privacy.
Although I don't condone criminality, I am a huge proponent of privacy. Privacy is what helps reduce threat vectors. Because of the lack of privacy in our day-to-day internet use, many are susceptible to attacks.
I just finished a great book titled "The Checklist Manifesto" https://a.co/d/aJzdIdr It contains pretty solid advice to battle disorganization and maximize performance.
The view is Roosevelt Island facing Manhattan. Roosevelt Island is named after President Franklin D Roosevelt. The trees are Japanese cherry blossoms. Photo was taken a few days ago.
I think fitness, in general, is already a habit and for me, my fitness habit includes flexibility. What I mean is I don't do any particular exercise the exact same way for too many consecutive days. I believe that your muscles need changes in order to get the best gains. I don't have a PhD is Bro-Science, but it seems to work for me. I did do #100Pushups today in solidarity though 💪
The hypocrisy with crypto hatred is thick. Haters argue: #Bitcoin uses too much power and it's an environmental catastrophe; same haters as A.I. compute power sucks electricity like an ant-eater eats ants: we need more GPUs and more A.I.! 🤔
Not saying Sam isn't culpable for his crimes, but it seems that #crypto related criminals are getting disproportionately higher sentences than people who commit violent crimes, theft of national security secrets, or financial crimes via #TradFi means. #FreeRoss too.
Did push-ups everyday for a total of 5,000 push-ups for the month of January. I only had alcohol on January 1st & January 4th (difficult to do in #NYC 🤓). Now I need to keep this new habit going and add some regular BJJ-Sambo training. LFG!!! Is David Goggins on #Nostr?
Values are learned, they are not intrinsic. And pro-society values have demonstrated a higher likelihood of human (as a species) survival than anti-social values (anarchy). The State is the natural evolution of codifying a society's values. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Another thought on the #Bitcoin ETF is that it favors people who trade BTC via the ETF than those who own the spot since you don't have the same tax and other regulatory requirements that are arguably burdensome to the plebs. Looks like people are selling the news too. Can't wait for the Direxion 3X Bitcoin ETFs. 🤣
Curious how #Bitcoin ETFs changes its investment profile. I will always prefer to own the spot than to rely on some 3rd party to own it. Can't wait until one of those funds purchases "tainted" Bitcoin and see if the fund is accused of facilitating money laundering & terrorism.
I'm listening to great audio book called "Caste: The Origins of our Discontent". Pick up a copy or listen before the book ends up on the banned book list. I'm curious at how the book is received by Indian (South Asian) Americans. https://www.audible.com/pd/0593339800?source_code=ASSOR150021921000R
But every node connects to someone else's node and the chain trusts the majority of nodes. If your node is not part of the 51% (of nodes that mine), your UTXO is going nowhere. Although I do love the Umbrel products as a way to help #Bitcoiner self-sovereignty
