I have an extreme level of personal accountability/responsibility/ownership.
I do not believe things that happen to me are the result of others actions, but of my own actions.
I do not believe others are responsible for or to me.
I am wholly responsible for myself.
Nothing negative that ever happened to me (even in childhood) was the result of someone else’s plan, but always of my own design.
No one has ever held me down/back. No one has ever stood in my way. No one has ever defeated me. I have defeated myself.
I am responsible for everything that occurs in my world. Every single thing.
I’m not saying everyone should think this way, but this is how I think.
I have a strong internal commitment to becoming the best version of myself and like everyone I’m stumbling my way there.
But the satisfaction is in the stumbling.
I haven’t quit yet and I’m not likely too.
Keep stumbling forward.
I’m not sure I have any lol I’m a big time stumbler. I think my best advice is to work on one thing at a time. Focus intently on that thing and eventually you’ll break through. For me though it’s always hard won lessons on the way to the breakthrough.
Learning from others is the big one. I simply set my ego aside and pay attention to people who have already achieved what I desire. Eventually something clicks and I never look back.
If someone tells you that they have a trading system that can beat hodling, while also claiming to be an OG Bitcoiner from the early days… ask them a simple question.
Are you rich as fuck?
Because you should be massively wealthy if you’ve been here since the early days and your trading system works.
If you ever wanna go viral on the internet just be super duper hyperbolic.
People that don’t understand this are literally scum and should die.
See what I did there? lol 😂
Think about it like this.
If you believe bitcoin is going to 2 million.
That’s 32x away from where we are now.
So multiply everything you’re spending in the present by 32 to figure out the true cost of things.
That $20 lunch you had? That could have been a $640 dinner in the future.
The reasonable 30k car you bought? That’s a million dollar super car your future self could have driven.
The 100k downpayment you put on your home? That’s a 3.2 million dollar paid off home.
The 5k international vacation you took last year? That was a 160k baller trip you could have taken later.
Food for thought.
I think what they valued was spending time with you bro and being together as a family. That said I’m sure Italy is a nice backdrop if someone can afford it, but not a necessity.
It was about $36,000 to attain 6.15 Btc when I started that meme. The price of a car. Everyone else was telling people to get one bitcoin and I was like fuck that. Have some fucking balls and aim a little higher. It was always an aspirational goal and not easy to attain, but still within reach for people who wanted it bad enough. Basically the price of a new car, parking lots full of them. What do you want? New car or 6.15 bitcoin? The choice is yours. There are a lot of guys who heard the call, felt the challenge I was laying out and responded to my specific brand of bravado back then. Next year it’s likely they’ll all be millionaires. Beautiful. Exactly my intended goal.
I used to think the seed oil guys were right, now I think they may have stumbled onto one of the most consequential movements of the 21st century. Right behind Bitcoin in terms of importance.
I luckily did it in reverse lol 😂
I’ve always had a thought that there’s an order of operations to a good life.
1. Wealth
2. Health
3. Happiness
1. Wealth first because you have to start compounding early.
2. Health second because when you’re young you can kind of get away with not prioritizing health for a time period.
3. Happiness last because it’s elusive and because it’s easier to achieve if you’ve already achieved the other two.
Not sure if I’m correct in thinking this way, but it’s been sort of a life philosophy for me.
Something is making Americans fat as fuck.
Basically the theory is that pufa’s (seed oils) are dirty food (industrial sludge, non ancestral) which turn into dirty fuel when utilized for fat burn in the body. This produces unpleasant and negative feelings in the body and emotionally when fat stores containing PUFA’s are tapped into causing people to become hangry (distinct from hungry) and seek food more often resulting in overeating. Personally I find it a more compelling theory than sugar bad, sedentary lifestyle etc…
