I used to think the seed oil guys were right, now I think they may have stumbled onto one of the most consequential movements of the 21st century. Right behind Bitcoin in terms of importance.
I luckily did it in reverse lol 😂
I’ve always had a thought that there’s an order of operations to a good life.
1. Wealth
2. Health
3. Happiness
1. Wealth first because you have to start compounding early.
2. Health second because when you’re young you can kind of get away with not prioritizing health for a time period.
3. Happiness last because it’s elusive and because it’s easier to achieve if you’ve already achieved the other two.
Not sure if I’m correct in thinking this way, but it’s been sort of a life philosophy for me.
So true. You’re in the most advantageous society on earth. People come here with nothing, who don’t even speak the language and become millionaires all the time.
Being an individual is rare.
Of course everyone is an individual, but most will not identify themselves this way.
Most will choose to identify with their racial/cultural group ahead of their status as an individual.
The person who realizes the harsh truth that they are but one lone human in a sea of humanity is special.
They are unique.
They are bounded by nothing.
Which allows them to do anything.
I frequently find myself in interactions like that. Which is frustrating.
“Well you’re a white male so you think x, y and z”
I don’t think any of those things.
“Yes you do”
No I really don’t.
A lot of people don’t know my story about how I got into bitcoin so here it is…
I was a smart kid from sort of a rough background.
Always academically gifted, but never really applied myself.
I had a keen interest in mathematics and really excelled in school but had a hard time staying out of trouble.
I was in and out of juvie during my early adolescence. Nothing serious. Petty stuff underage drinking. Fighting. Resisting arrest etc…
Even though I had a rough home life I always had a close friend group that I could count on.
One of them got me a job as a janitor at a local college.
I was a lowly janitor but I still had my love for mathematics, so I used to sneak around and finish high level equations that people had left on the chalkboard.
One day a professor confronted me as I was writing an equation down. I told him to fuck off and ran away.
Then I got like mandated to do therapy with this old guy who was all wise and shit anyway I forget how the rest of the movie goes…
Then I got into bitcoin!
And that’s my story.
It’s important to strive upwards.
To have ideals.
Beauty, truth, wisdom, love etc…
People telling you everything needs to be realistic are losers.
We strive.
That’s what it means to be human.
Never apologize for having high aims.
One day my children are gonna be like daddy why did you say that thing/do that thing?
And I’m gonna sit them down and be like listen up children…

At first that seems odd until you remember that communism is simply a bunch of ugly weirdos getting together to make being normal illegal.
I find this a lot with leftist. You guys are worried about boogeymen from twenty years ago. Fox News is nothing now. Twenty years ago I was on your side and I was worried about the right. Because they were the party in power and you’re right to accuse them of everything they did. It’s all true. Today it’s the democrats who we must resist because they’re the new censors, the new warmongers, the new big business champions. They’re in power and they must be resisted. We must always resist the party in power. It’s the only way.
I mean say what you want about the Republican Party, but at least they are a functioning and legitimate democratic political organization. This new version of the democrat party is… I don’t even know what to call it. Codified oligarchy? No one voted for Kamala Harris. It doesn’t seem like it matters who the D nominee is. Just put in a puppet and tell the brainwashed faithful to vote for it. That’s just as if not more troubling to me as when Fox News had control of the airwaves in 2004.

Rich people wield that weapon/shield
Bitcoiners are the new wealthy elite.
The state will reflect our values
Because we’re going to buy it.

I think that perspective is unfortunately incorrect. I used to think the same way and then I realized that there is no way we can possibly escape the state. That said it’s an open question whether we are co-opted or they co-opt us. We have to play it out to see.
Not even close bro. We fight for freedom every fucking day for the rest of our lives and then we pass on the torch to our children and they fight in our place. Never give up.
I don’t care about what’s happened. I only care about what is yet to occur. We’re the adults now brother. It’s us. We have a seat at the table. It’s time to capitalize on that.

If people get woken up by trauma then so be it but I’m certainly not going to root for it. I have children and I’d like to avoid mass chaos whenever possible.
