I think the concerns were warranted. They messed it up.

This is the Chinese port in Guangzhou.
People unload ships remotely with 5G, AND THEN, AI vehicles automatically drive the containers to trucks and load them, without human assistance.

Good Morning the strike has begun. If this lasts longer than a week you might want to start your Christmas shopping early this year or certain items wont be in stock later this year. Also stock up on food and other essentials just in case this goes longer than expected.

What if the October surprise is that this strike was done on purpose so Kamala can come in and say she helped negotiate a deal. Right now, she is polling at a record low for a Democrat amongst union workers. It's almost the perfect setup and would make sense why they had no urgency to push for a deal. Let it go on long enough where people feel some pain, then come in and play the hero. Her numbers amongst union workers would sky rocket right before the election. https://v.nostr.build/OQV0YRxGrlbefCWg.mp4

Yeah, it doesn't look good from what I've read. I hope they get all the help they need 🙏. Sadly, I have little faith in the government. We shall see. Prayers to those affected 🙏.
Also glad to hear you were able to talk to your parents. Any word on whose been able to get there to help and what outlet to use to donate to support the cause?
By fighting it first, then realizing there is no use. Got to go with the flow. Big changes create growth. Adaptability, especially in these times, is a good trait to have.
Nothing wrong with venting. A lot of people can relate in these current times. Sprinkle in some positive vibes though. See, you are already doing it nostr:nevent1qqsfhrgapetgrwkv822p66u8mrqxr6eg9hjlpkzhxnshg577k4vusrspr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qgstm84k2lp9knmvmf5gw88zvfvar7duvfpqfplryfystdn55ug2gksrqsqqqqqpa6ha0r

Yea its an injustice that the working class are being abused while people flood into the country and get free benefits. Its an injustice that foreign governments are getting so much money from the USA as well. Plenty of injustices.
BIDEN: "We've given everything that we have."
"Are there any more resources the federal government could be giving them?"
BIDEN: "No."
Government treating illegals better than their own citizens in crisis. What a disgrace.

I lived through Hurricane Maria, a Category 5 hurricane that hit Puerto Rico in 2017. If there's one thing I learned, it's that the government will not help you when you need it most. Years after the hurricane, they found warehouses completely full of supplies that were never distributed because certain people wanted to make the people in power look bad. One thing was certain, the help most people received was from private citizens and people helping one another. There are so many good people out there. It's the light you will see in dark moments, like natural disasters.

I can only see this going terribly but we shall see. The metaverse was a flop but meta is ahead of the game when it comes to vr/ar if their smart glasses becomes an actual thing it could be an iPhone type moment for Meta. I hope for their failure though.
Port strike looks like it's happening... No idea how long it will last, but it will cause supply chain disruptions. 2-week strike, according to my friend who works in the industry, would take until next year to clear out.

Covid inflation stole a lot from peoples wages. Literally like these people got 50 percent pay reductions by continuing to get paid the same. They want higher wages, I can not blame them. I agree that disrupting the supply chain sucks but also the people in charge could of offered better terms and never got to this point. Fiat standard problems.
Federal government is worthless. Sending aid to foreign governments but not to help its own citizens. End of the day its stuff like this that actually helps. Citizens helping each other 💜
Good Morning John Kerry GFY 👇
"Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to hammer [disinformation] out of existence. What we need is to win...the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes that you’re free to be able to implement change."

Yeah, the government is not a good capital allocator. Printing money doesn't create abundance. Get out of the way - less taxes, less regulations, and less spending, and you'd have a greater supply of food and homes.
Lightning or onchain? Wait until the end of the year when he has a bigger stack. Take away 50 percent to teach him about taxes. His distain for the state will start young 😂
Go to costco this weekend stock up on some stuff just in case.

“A potential strike by dockworkers along the East and West coast, with the strike set to begin at midnight on Monday, September 30th.”
“This could shut down ports from Maine to Texas. Affecting roughly 60% of U.S. shipping traffic.”
“Up to 45,000 dock workers could be involved and even a two-week strike could impact supply chain until 2025”
