They don’t even try to hide it 

 “The press needs a consistent narrative”. Saying the quiet part out loud here. It’s obvious how often the press are fed narrative for them to parrot. And they obey. 

 the press shouldn’t be creating narratives 

 Agree, nor should they parrot the ones they are fed with. The press should just inform of the facts, or about what we know and what we don’t about the issue at hand. And let people use their critical thinking from there. 

 LOL!  Apparently, "reporting the facts" isn't in itself "a consistent narrative". 

 Scary stuff, this was on PBS.......normies listen to this stuff and say "Well that sounds reasonable"
