Anyone have a good Tai Chi DVD or program to recommend?

#taiChi
I've done some bird stalking in the backyard, and then got to see the Brown Swiss cows at a neighbors' farm. So far, it has been a good way to spend a federal holiday.
@d083a60e 🤣 We had problems that people worked on for PhD theses as test questions in an AI class back in 2004. Predictably, everyone bombed it.

Did the prof. change approach? No.
The eternal puppy had to go to the vet this week -- I dropped her off in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. She was a star! The staff said I could bring her back whenever I wanted, and that the pup had gotten lots of belly rubs and pets during the day. Here, she is grazing on the lawn as usual.

@88b449c5 lol. Yeah, some of these descriptions were not translated well.
Happy Friday! Our blackberry, 'Prime-Ark 45'. It is in its second year, there are still blooms and berries on it. An everbearing type. We love it. I saw this N. Mockingbird try to get some of the fruit and it was unsuccessful. We put up bird netting in the early season and since the birds haven't taken off with most of the harvest, did not net the parts that grew this summer.

While shopping for an overbed table,

"...This also makes it convenient for you to use this overbed desk for *oil painting* while in bed, not just using your laptop or Kindle. "

Some of these descriptions are quite hilarious.
I saw lots and lots of Viburnum x pragense at a church! These seem to have been hedged at one point. Like Leatherleaf viburnum (Viburnum rhytidophyllum, my morning post todat), this is a broadleaf evergreen shrub in my region.

It is both fun and sometimes distracting to know more about shrubberies.

@88b449c5 I liked this photo b/c the first time I saw it, the tall building in the distance seemed like a road, just 90 degrees from the road the vehicles are on.

Very neat. Illustrates your underlying message -- there buildings and roads everywhere you look.
Leatherleaf Viburnum, 'Allegheny'. I am a super fan of this shrub -- I learned after planting that it is mostly evergreen in my region.

[education] TIL about Bloom's 2 Sigma problem courtesy of @af2dd916

This tracks w/ what we've observed with our kids .... when they started in virtual school 3 years ago, we were surprised at what they did not know. Virtual school was student working w/ parent checking & teaching study skills, etc. Now the kids are in physical school ... & we still need to check, study skills, review, comms, etc. The TIME.

This shape reminds me of a tusk, and I may use it for a carved pumpkin creation. Warthog?
