Number 1 reason I refuse to use #NVIDIA on the desktop is that #Wayland support on #NVIDIA is still a hassle.
Most of the things work but something simple as watching a full screen video in the browser is still painful.
the more i see posts with the #grownostr tag the less i seem to understand what the tag is about.
i initially thought it was about growing plants, like gardening. i really feel like a boomer.
the real ones trash on monero and claim it's simply the lesser evil in an inevitable future cashless society. if you see people selling it as the secondcoming of jesus, avoid them.
more powerful models that use multiple times more expensive hardware and much more energy becoming the common standard seems to be the only realistic possibility.
if some company released a model with 10x higher costs per token (due to the sheer hardware requirements for inference) but if it made gpt4 look like gpt2, you bet many people would gladly pay the extra price.
flux by black forest labs is an #ai text-to-image model that has an open source version that seems to completely shit on stable diffusion. things are looking good for #localai

seems to me that meshify is a better project right now, but has not much more room for growth, while reticulum is worse but it could be so many times better than meshify ever will. am i getting it wrong or do you agree?
that's cool, but i prefer the idea of using a laptop. btw, do you know if packet radio possible with SDR by any chance? also would like to know more about making antennas from simple wires.
use email aliasing such as addy or simplelogin. one dummy email address is not enough. use a different alias for every service. for phone mumber i recommend jmp.chat to avoid sim card tracking.
please stop overglorifying Satoshi and treating him like a prophet.
monero is a solid project regardless of what some dude that vanished 10 years ago thought.
filesystem being completely different, wheres my C drive, wheres my D drive? no ctrl+alt+delete. being used to install programs from a binary downloaded straight from the prohect's website and expecting it to auto-update.
yes, i2p should definitely be banned as well. spread the message and tell everyone you know to avoid it, especially people that aren't aware of it! https://geti2p.net/
let's not get ahead of ourselves, water isn't as big as monero for our society, there are alternatives to water. if we ban water people will just drink milk or something else. monero is the only functional privacy coin, it has no real alternatives, that's why we need to ban it, that will surely fix financial fraud, just like banning drugs fixed drug abuse. really that simple.
why would i want to keep my savings in a currency that has proven time and time again that it isn't able to function as digital cash? i'd rather keep it in precious metals.
privacy-focused people tend to act much more like themselves when they are anonymous, their anonymous accounts are where they show their true self and their identity. what they post on their public accounts tends to be in less volume and much less personal. the sheer amount of information and specific interests of a user with an anonymous account can go along way in understanding who they are and what they do, their legal name is not super relevant.
