It's on the nice to have list for the next release. The must have list has few major features we are currently working and focusing on; so it's probably going to be after the next release.
Thanks for the feedback.
1) You can reorder the feeds in Settings->Feeds screen; The first feed is the default one.
2) It used to work like Twitter, but we had some gap issues and this was the compromise we had to make. At some point after v2 release we might revisit the implementation and try to improve it.
You can change the default feed in the web app: Go to Settings -> Home Feeds, and then drag & drop the desired default feed on top of the list. We plan to support this as well on Android at some point in the future, but not sure when exactly.
Is there some kind of metadata about the blob in blossom? If not, is it even possible as an extension on the protocol?
It is very useful for clients to understand the data before downloading the actual data. One good example would be image resolution so apps can prepare the layout properly before image is loaded. This helps with performance and cleaner ux.
Thanks. It looks like NIP-94 can be used with any upload server. @Vitor Pamplona I see that Amethyst supports NIP-94, does this mean that you are publishing k:1063 events for uploaded files? And do you query for the files metadata when parsing urls from notes?
I really enjoyed listening CitadelDispatch EP125 with @hzrd149 and @Stuart Bowman. Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas. What is the current status of the Nostr Discord project you were talking about in the show?
Great! Looking forward to the release. If you need private alpha community testers, let me know. I'm willing to spend extra time setting up the tools if necessary; and the community memebrs are devs.
On Primal Android: Open side menu, go to Settings, go to Wallet, uncheck Use Primal wallet and Connect Mutiny Wallet appears. Tap the button and follow instructions.
What do you mean by not seeing replies on Primal iOS? There is Latest with Replies feed which you can use to see all notes on the home screen.
And if you set it to be the first feed in the Feeds Settings it will be the default feed when app opens.
Primal Android app reads the relays from the content field of the contacts nostr event. I have just checked and both your and @Piriya ⚡🟧's contacts list have empty "content" fields. Because of that the app doesn't know where to post the notes and shows the error.
Can you check if you have published your relays list on other client?
Thanks @Genri 🇨🇺 for the feedback. Stay tuned for the upcoming release. In the meantime you can tag someone if you paste npub of that user in format "nostr:npub". This note was written on Android app - you can click on 3 dots icon on a note and Copy note text to see the raw text.
This is because your relays are published with NIP65 which is not supported on Primal Android at the moment. We currently fetch the relays from contacts list event.
Using Primal Web or Primal iOS you could set your relays in Settings -> Network. Open Network settings (apps might prepopulate with some popular relays) and make a change to the list so update gets triggered. This does not make changes to your NIP65 relays. Afterwards it should work.
I hope other apps are not clearing relays from contacts list when using NIP65.
Anyways we plan soon to improve relays handling across the entire platform so this is only temporarily.
Nostr is constantly improving and evolving. That would be the main reason.
Primal implemented the first relays solution and we are currently in the process of implementing the new relays list across all Primal apps.
