The digital economy is built on advertising (monetizing consumers) and rent seeking (monetizing creators).
V4V with a native internet money will disrupt both. Expect resistance!
Like it! ... but this requires that custom zaps messages are used. I wonder if people find them when they are hidden behind a long press.
Maybe it would be better to be able to "attach" sats to a regular reply (from a UI point of view).
What this image is omitting, is the huge rebel base supplying an endless number of new tie fighters. These are being built by forcefully taking the wealth of the people from the "rebel planets".
I don’t understand how putting identities on the blockchain will help us and how they will solve the oracle problem. Nostr identities with web of trust are a much easier and more effective solution.
Currently in the process of building a DVM that creates video thumbnails and uploads them to blossom servers. Prototype works locally already 🤩 #devstr #blossom

It think this will only work as long as the number of spammers is low. At some point we need to have a default filter by web of trust. Anon npubs will be noise then.
Wondering if there is a way to use the blind signatures from ecash to attach trust to an anonymous npub. You could vouch for that new npub but it should not be possible to see who vouched for it. Have no idea if that is feasible.
Should be working today with expiration tag (when clients/relays support it). Question is if the attached content should be deleted as well - we could build blob expiration into blossom. @hzrd149
I like the idea of a "muted by author" badge. That would make clear that a comment is not wanted here and warn readers to take that content with a grain of salt or even mute the npub themselves. We might need a mute for individual posts then or should we maybe use the 1984 reports instead?
Every client should have this! It's a warning that you are about to NUKE you follow list. This can happen when (for some reason) your list of followers has not been loaded correctly from the relays. Reload the page and you should be fine.
