I think my problem is the recipe I use does not go directly from bowl to loaf pan, but has flour and other stuff added first.
This one’s served me fairly well for years, but maybe I should be hunting for a new recipe 🤔
I think you are talking about the show called Casa de Papel originally, or in English Money Heist.
Yeah that was a good show, especially the first season!
Good news: due to something I or my husband did, I’m finally able to connect to our private relay to back up my notes!
Bad news: due to something I did, I lost my ability to zap (and possibly be zapped) and also lost my Damus bookmarks.
Just temporary… but I’m tired so might have to fix tomorrow.
He wasn’t my pick at convention and I’ve heard a few underwhelming things since.
The point of a Libertarian presidential candidate is not to win, but to use election season to get ideas clearly into ears, ideally setting people on fire for liberty who maybe didn’t get it before. I don’t think he’s living up to that.
We had an amazing time reading Luke 6 and discussing pacifism, self defense, enemy love, spiritual warfare, and more! Join us next week for Luke 7!

I have a new addition to my list of favorite frangrances: Amyris resin
Know of this one?
Got a beeswax candle with it and those are some very harmonious smells!
I actually think I recognize it as a component of a perfume I like.

#nostrbiblestudy begins in just a little under 8.5 hours! Hope you will join us in Cornychat to read Luke 6.

Anarchism is literally part of the word Ancap, not sure why the confusion there.
We use the word because it accurately describes what we believe; whether others mean differently is not my concern.
You’re right about the history. Michael Malice’s book The Anarchist’s Handbook is an eye opener, both about the attitudes of the first to describe themselves as anarchists and of how some of them had attitudes surprisingly in line with ones we share.
Like many other loaded words, left and right anarchists want the same word and general concept that is actually radically different when you look at means and specifics.
What originals thought of as “ruling” is all authority, even voluntary or that over private property. What we think it means is the initiation of force, etc. I obviously think our view makes more sense.
As for the term being “tainted,” almost everything else I am or believe in is also “tainted” or “devalued” or “loaded.” If I stopped to care about the opinions of people who make those kinds of snap judgments instead of actually getting to know me and listen to what I have to say, I wouldn’t have time to exist. 🤷🏻♀️
I struggle with this often, too.
They usually go away when I’m fully absorbed in something else / flow state.
Having a really good conversation or creative accomplishment as part of the flow state can give a protective effect.
I also pray for the renewing of my heart and mind, and to see people and things the way God does, more at these times.
Passionfruit or passionflower consumed too close to bedtime does this to me. They cause vivid dreams in other people, too, but for me the vivid dreams from them are always uncomfortable or creepy.
Passionfruit is a favorite of mine but I have to watch when / how much I eat 😅
💯 actually writing them down helps you recall more dreams for longer and is a step toward being able to lucid dream, if you want to do that.
I got really close to being able to do that consistently before I lost momentum.
I see it differently. A lot of people here are Nostr only, or at least not on Twitter. They’re sharing those memes with us we’d otherwise not see.
Thank you, meme daigou 🫡
Humans have always made trails to get from one place to another more efficiently. Even non-human animals do this.
Not to say that there weren’t a lot of “let’s create more jobs!” needless roads made throughout human history. But like so many things the state co-opts and corrupts, I think there is a genuine and innocent human desire for it that we can see fulfilled without coercion.
In the following sense, completely disagree: “sheltered from knowledge of socially uncomfortable realities, or from the expectation to behave responsibly”
In the following sense, completely agree: “encouraged to play and pursue their interests; not shamed for being playful or silly or for where they find joy in life”
I’ve never tried, but that’s amazing!!
It makes sense; intuitively, I think the pressure of the water could regulate the force of the nail better than the air.
