I just put on the Interstellar docking scene soundtrack and punched two new holes in my belt.
The last hour was a throwback to 2018 when I went to work early dark winter mornings in Norway. I remember the snow and glistening stars above, listening to the Interstellar docking music on repeat on my headphones while planning my next bitcoin purchase. Magical times.
Now time is reconnecting back in time. I remember all the mornings, days and nights of hard work and overtime.
We made it.
This reminds me that ~90% ethnic Norwegians had the experimental mRNA jab at least once.
Sweden in particular and Norway to some extent have been an epicenter of woke ideology for decades. Glad to see some pushback.
We are officially back in the early bull market phase. Add the upcoming US election which is basically a pro-Bitcoin vs an anti-Bitcoin election. (Plus free markets vs communism)
This thing will explode upwards.
As many of us have remarked over the past few years, this was planned all along and it fits perfectly with the government strategy of printing money. As inflation worsens, individuals become dependent on government handouts for survival.
The final stage of paying out some form of UBI (or targeted UBI) in programmable CBDC's is now piloted in Thailand as Efrat explains and can be expected to arrive in all nations that are on board with the UN Agenda 21. That would be approximately the same 179 nations that signed the UN Agenda in Rio de Janeiro back in 1992.
Bitcoin is the only liberty money competitor to CBDC's that offer a global game theory strategy where capital flight can pressure governments to improve their regulations in favor of individual liberties and property rights.
Agreed.
In the choice between an Elizabeth Warren (Democrat) style regulatory structure that is openly and extravagantly hostile to all non-CBDC tech, vs a shitcoining candidate who is positive to Bitcoin and "crypto", the latter aligns with individual liberties and property rights while the former is acid to modern civilization. Add the de-industrialization UN Agenda 2030 programs that attack energy usage, travel, production and consumtion.
Under a system of property rights we will not agree with all adult consensual behaviors but they are protected none the less, with the benefit of our rights being protected as well.
Shitcoining shows a poor judgement, yet many of us maximalists have recovered from that kind of past bad judgement. The process of liberty alignment is not equally fast for everyone.
Yes, for most people, staying and resisting CBDC's is the best option.
Yet, it is also the case that since many individuals and entrepreneurs go where they are treated best, a greater game theory plays out where nations have to compete to keep capital, entrepreneurs and skills from leaving. This competition will benefit individual liberties and property rights, albeit may take years or decades to have an impact.
Both of these strategies are necessary and all we can do is choosing the one that aligns with our hearts. Italy is certainly beautiful, as well as large parts of Europe. If I stay or leave, I am still thankful for those that go where they are treated best. Their capital flight will put pressure on the authoritarian jurisdictions.

Completely unpredictable to the central planner mindset. Predictable like clockwork to every realist.
When a government announces attacks against property rights, capital and entrepreneurs will leave.
Bitcoin makes this process even easier since bitcoin is a global ledger without national boundaries.

Yes.
Also, the Swedish government politicizes everything it touches and the Nobel prize is just an extension of the Swedish government at this point. The Nobel committee have given many deserved prizes in the past but we can always expect a political play under the surface.
Perhaps. On the other hand, reproductive rights might work fine if there is no moneyprinting/inflation that causes the young generation to be priced out of the housing market. Also a general reduction of central planning regulations would be beneficial.
In Scandinavia it is hard for parents to homeschool children due to the mandatory school attendance regulations. Add the violence of many neighborhoods in Sweden due to mass immigration and the poor selection process. We can choose to have positive immigration instead of importing criminal gang structures.
If these problems can be solved and reversed, I think we will see an increase in births. People don't want children to grow up in a bad area and under hostile conditions, for example violence and mandatory government propaganda in schools, so the alternative for young couples is often to build up capital and move to somewhere safe before they have children.
Also we need strong gun carry regulations in Scandinavia. If most of the working population is armed, criminals will soon learn to stay away from our peninsula.

Absolutely. I think it's a matter of understanding causality.
Just adding that Michael Saylor turned out quite well without children. It generally work better for men than women, with some variations. Men having a longer fertility window probably have an impact as well.

Only free markets, property rights, individual liberties and hard money can bring prosperity.
The forces of good embrace these pillars of civilization while the retrogressives promote modern slavery under a machinery of strangling regulations and massive inflation caused by moneyprinting and government debt.
Africa needs Bitcoin.

Right, before extensive bureaucracy we had more liberties and free markets around the world. Free commerce used to be the default experience, with the local warlord taxes of course.
Agreed.
I perceive that there are two main types of markets.
1. Profit - free markets. Consumers vote with their wallets and impact what they want or don't want produced in order to improve their lives and happiness. This is the outcome of free agency, individual liberties and property rights.
2. Ideology. In this kind of centrally planned and rigged market, actors are rewarded or punished based on ideology. The driving ideology sorts winners and losers based on compliance with the ruling regime and its authoritarian belief systems. Examples: national socialism, fascism, communism and socialism.
A good example of the ideology-based market is ESG scores where central planners define the ideological framework and mandated policies and beliefs that all commerce have to be filtered through in order to be successful and legal.
Good video. Learning is a broad term so I wouldn't ditch it. The ways of learning are many and I wouldn't want to associate learning with traditional classroom methods.
Yep. The game theoretical benefits of Bitcoin hinges on it being the hardest money and the best store of value.
There will never be a timeline where the best store of value doesn't appreciate.
NGU is a receipt for the hardest money.
Great decision. Better to have non-AI tools for those who have skills or want to develop skills.
Sovereignty starts and ends by being able to create something on your own, without crutches.
Yup.
Since the position is illogocal I suspect that it is often a disingenious concern voiced by envious minds who would rather want their altcoin to have Bitcoin's dominant position as a store of value.
Yet from basic logic we can expect that the hardest money will be popular as a store of value, both for companies and ETF providers.
Those who understand hard money better than others will necessarily accumulate more of it and earlier.
There is no alternate timeline where the hardest money does not become desirable.
If we could restrict and prevent individuals and companies from buying a certain amount of Bitcoin, it wouldn't be an open and fair protocol.
Only under communism is equal outcomes desirable - and it requires totalitarian measures to even aim at approximately achieve such a result.
Yes, they are impossible goals that lead to a central planning tyranny as they are attempted in practice. I'm not sure that there is a practical difference between a goal and a destination thar can't be reached - they both represent a directional vector.
If I tell people that equality of outcomes is my goal, you can expect all kinds of restrictions that cages and incapacitates individual liberties in an attempt to prevent different outcomes. We can also predict that there will be groups of people that are given special privileges. In short: a recipe for totalitarianism under the banner of pretended justice.
Agreed. And we may also divide contests into niches where individuals with similar ability can have a meaningful competition. This makes sense in terms of male vs female boxing as well as different weight classes.
The equality aspect is that everyone is playing by the same rules. When someone needs different rules this encourages the creation of new sport categories.
I also support equality of opportunity. Nobody should be held down and/or prevented from achieving their potential.
The only problem is when "equal opportunity" interpreted as creating an equal starting point for everyone - which is impossible. There is nothing wrong with helping and aiding others to have a better starting point.
Yet the variability in passion, creativity, experience, determination, skill, focus, stamina and ability are so great that equalizing the starting point may inspire some people to cut down the high achievers to achieve some kind of equality utopia.
Example of when equal opportunity becomes harmful:

Absolutely.
This reminds me of the great series The Colony which was terminated after 2-3 seasons. I was disappointed that there were actual aliens in the story - it would have been a more interesting plot twist if the aliens were just made up in order to lock down the planet.
If we ever hear of an alien invasion, I'm going to assume it's a totalitarian power grab.
Compelling content requires interesting humans so that's something that code can't substitute. Humans are always a step ahead of language mimicry models. Keep up the good work.
Interesting. Japanese must be quite a challenge. I also studied German + Spanish in school but much of it has evaporated due to neglect so I am trying to recapture some of it. It is absolutely easier once the path has been trodden before.
