I've just published a site with you as an author: https://goldfishthumb1-brugeman.npub.pro/
Could you please try clearing npub.pro cache, deleting site data etc and try again? If it's still stuck in preview, click on your icon in footer and choose some other person - does preview load then? Really don't know what's wrong here
I was still buggy, I fixed the issue just now, should be stable on safari now. Thank you for pushing me to fix this, had to bring my mac desktop back to life.
Thanks for trying it! Yes we have the ability to manually select posts on the roadmap, along with making them separate pages with specific urls instead of being 'posts'.
We currently don't show replies and quote-posts. Notes are short notes, posts are long-form content. Will look into your site to check if there's something wrong.
Thanks for trying it!
Thanks a lot!
> A page to display specific notes by just adding the note ids and arranging the note ids in whatever order
We will support adding specific notes and assigning specific addresses to notes. Or are you asking about making lists of notes?
> Cornychat- import your live & scheduled room(s)
We will support all nostr kinds eventually (and let people create plugins for that). Popular stuff like live events, files, lists etc is top on the roadmap.
> Relay tools - have a page to join explore your relay(s)
This isn't a priority, but maybe people build plugins to do that eventually.
> Coracle white label - let each website have its own curate-able feed
You mean you want to support importing notes to the site based on Coracle-feeds? Or showing a feed as a single webpage with notes from the feed?
Love you feedback, thank you!
Please welcome Npub.pro!
This is a tool to make yourself a beautiful Nostr-based website.
It's been long in the making, and we're thrilled to launch it on this special day!
Here is a short demo of how you can make yourself a website right now:
https://v.nostr.build/kZG9O.mp4
It's free for anyone getting started, it's open source and self-hostable.
Why get yourself a nostr-based website?
- beautiful themes (any Ghost theme could work)
- great looking shareable links to your content
- works like an app, add to homescreen, useable offline
- SEO-optimized
- attach your custom domain or host yourself
Try it at https://npub.pro
Learn more on our Nostr-based blog: https://blog.npub.pro/post/npub-pro-is-live
P.S. If you like how it looks, that's because @Karnage designed it. Thanks man, it's a pleasure to work with you!
It's just a convenience for people to try the app. Our keys publish site events for people who login with DM, but they can always republish under their own keys and point the site to new event. We host these free sites anyway, so not much more centralization there.
Thank you!
Notes are short posts published in twitter-like apps (Damus, Amethyst, Primal etc), long posts are long-form content you can publish using habla.news or highlighter.com. Events are "nostr events" - all types of data published on nostr are called events.
Yes any Ghost theme should be compatible, but there is no tool to import stuff from Ghost yet. Nip23 is long-form content - it's already supported (choose Posts to display on the site). 30002 and other lists aren't supported yet.
The idea is that you'd just link to other nostr events/notes/posts in your nostr clients, and npub.pro would show nice looking embeds of the linked events (like other clients) and convert those links to either internal links on the site (if linked posts is also published on the site), or link to some external nostr client like njump. It's not implemented yet, but that's the plan. If that's not something you have in mind, please tell me more. Thanks!
Yes!
And maybe - custom domain will be our paid Pro plan feature. But you can self-host this on github pages for free and attach custom domain there, but it won't be working as good there - it will be client-side rendered so no meta tags for link sharing and search engines.
Static sites are closer - we serve prerendered html files. If self hosting right now you will just serve several static files, rendering happens in the browser. Themes are DSL and can't inject arbitrary code into the engine, whether it's running on the server or in the browser.
