Bitrefill had an awesome bill pay service in 2022, but they discontinued it.
I'm looking for an alternative. Actually, I wish I could use bitrefill again. It was awesome.
I have solar. I need a way to pay that bill.
I use Strike for my ACH rails.
I bought a cup of coffee for $4.00 with my credit card today. I get 1.5% cash back.
Then I paid 7,300 sats to a BTCpayServer POS using the Strike API. The sats instantly convert to fiat. I send the fiat to my bank once a month and put my credit card on autopay.
I would like a way to cut out the bank all together.
He was the CEO of a social media corporation located in an authoritarian regime. He had to comply or go to the Gulag.
If he chose the Gulag, the Authoritarian regime would have forced the next CEO to do their bidding.
Sell your roth ira. Buy bitcoin. There's no tax afaik(but I'm not an accountant).
I would consider using a bitcoin ETF to avoid the tax penalty depending if I thought the exchange risk is less than the penalty, but I don't think it is.
I would not buy the ETH ETF under any circumstances.
My wife turned on the news the other day and I saw a certain presidential candidate advocate for price controls. I know it's fun to tease these dolts, but that's the most terrifying statement I've heard from a politician in my entire life.
That Mises Inflation episode was awesome by the way.
How come they sent me a nasty letter for depositing some poker winnings, but the government can send drug money to Coinbase without anyone batting an eye?
I make the same argument with apples instead of chairs, but I listened to Walker read Mises 4th of six lessons this morning. I'm so much better than my shitty apple analogy.
I know a brewer who uses Aqua wallet to accept bitcoin payments at his brewery.
I would like a lightning address and A BTCpayServer Plugin for Aqua Wallet so we can pay when he's not there.
