 The files need to be statically hosted, if there's gping to be processing before it can be shown, its not going to work.  

 I've used immich. Prism might work too, but I like nostr build because it's easy and scrapes Metadata. 

 I like immich cause its self hosted, but I'm not sure about the idea of publicly sharing self hosted images, unless that's its only for this purpose, immich is more useful as a backup tool, google photos replacement.  

 You get the image.  You can download it,  there's only limited info of the file, no location or something compromising.
Only basic photography info - device which took the photo, aperture, ISO, etc.
 

 Yeah, I'm pretty good about cleaning the exif info.

I was just hoping that it would work as a content host, but alas, it will not.  

 A preview didn't show, but I was able to click on the image and see it.
