I don't disagree, but what would you do with this feature? Zap people? I'm not being an askhole either. This stuff is so new, I just don't think I totally understand it yet. 😂
I've been thinking about this quite a bit since google no longer let's me access my email without paying two bucks per month.
It's not about the money. The fact that a corporation can cut off email over $1.99 is problematic.
That's what I figured. Some dude at my meetup told me about this node. I hace followed you for years, but only recently learned about it.
I'll take a look at the docs. I'd like to try it on a VM.
I was waiting for this. I was a little skeptical when you said they might replace Biden at the last minute.
Now people on MSNBC are even talking about it.
Jaron Lanier's name appears on the same Wired Magazine cover the Cypherpunks issue.
Today, I started reading his book, Ten Arguments For Deleting Your Social Media Accounts.
Has anyone else read this book?
I wonder what he thinks of nostr.

He's an interesting guy. You should check him out on YouTube(or NewPipe).
He plays some strange musical contraption. 😅, but I think he invented MIDI or something.
I bought a cheap Android tablet the other day. It wouldn't allow me to sign into Google Play with my gmail account unless I pay $1.99 ransom for storage every month.
Then it occured to me, I don't need google.
All of the apps I need are on zapstore, obtanium, or aurora.
So I don't need to pay $1.99 to Google every month.
I know it's only two bucks a month.
I just don't want to support surveillance capitalism.
Twitter is a slot machine that pays meaningless likes and occasional viral exposure. If you're lucky, you might see a message from a popular account weeks after they send it to you.
This is the real problem with social media. You only see what they want you to see, especially when it comes to politics, but your eyes stay glued to the screen like senior citizen's ass glued to a seat in front of a slot machine.
I never even knew Pixel made tablets until the other day. I bought a cheap tablet online. Is it possible to install CalyxOS on it? There's no secure element. I just don't want Google crapware on it.
