Ummm, no. They lost 75M dollars, and closed a bunch of locations. They can't afford to keep doing it, that's what he means. He isn't making a statement about sustainability of the shrimp supply 😂
Awww, did I hurt your feelings?
RAWR!
I read the article, did you? Customers were eating far more shrimp than the $20 could supply.
You made up a problem that he wasn't discussing. Simple.
It was never a big money maker for them and especially isn't now with higher labor costs and all input prices shooting up.
Of course if shrimp was cheaper they could possibly do it, but it hasn't been in endless ever, it is a scarce resource. Duh.
What a stupid ass comment.
He doesn't give a shit about humans over shrimping or some other nonsense. He cares about the bottom line. Mor should he. His job is to make the company money. Nothing more, nothing less.
You made up some random reason, and were wrong. Big deal, ove on.
What in the literal fuck are you talking about??
I never once argued that.
I'm not 15, I am not going to play meme wars or whatever the hell you are talking about.
I have a family to be with.
Peace out.
Of course it is. That's the point.
It is the true spirit of humans. What we should be doing. Surviving
If it was voluntary, not slavery driven, coliseum battles would be amazing to watch.
Is there? I'm not sure about that.
We act civilized, but are merely animals in the end. Most humans aren't happy, could be because we stopped 'surviving'.
Muay Thai and BJJ are 100% the best thing I do for my mind and body. Away from work, family, life. Just me and another guy trying to use the mind, strength, and flexibility to defeat the other person in 'combat'.
Just my 2 cents...
Yup. There is no end of the amount of money they need to 'fix things' or 'help people'. They will always debate the money to pay for things hurting all, and at the same time continue finding new ways to tax.
Fats don't make people fat. Excess calories do.
I've been mostly carnivore(eat bananas and lol bit of honey) and high fat for 2 years now, and am down to 10% body fat from 20.
Moderate eating and working out or at least being active is required in life.
Then you aren't eating too many calories... Your body has activity and a high metabolism.
Go watch the letter Kenny episode on who can eat more meat lol.

You said fats...
Seed oils don't affect people in any way. That's a myth. My wife eats shitloads of seed oils. Healthy and thin as can be. She uses vegetable oil for everything.
Moderation of anything is key.
All diets can work, if done correctly. Whether carnivore, low calorie, vegan(tougher though), keto, low fat, etc...
People can eat McDonald's fries evryday for lunch along with a healthy ish dinner, and intermittent fast with it and will be completely healthy and normal.
Best hourly follow on NOSTR
The fiat price and market info is handy, but the mining state, fees, lightning info, and so much more is fantastic. Everyone should follow!

Very true. Good life rule.
The original Dora however lives near the tropics and has pyramids. Likely Mayan Riviera, El Salvador, etc ... They never say. Only the newer Dora does she live in CA.
I am here by community noting the community notes.
Why can't people just admit he stole the idea and ripped it off? Very strange.
It may be fine, legal, or not, but it's clearly a ripoff.
We should be encouraging actual product innovation not applauding ripoffs
This isn't b cash
It's stupid and click bait. The federal government doesn't control elections and how the rules and systems are run. The legislators do. The constitution is quite clear on this.
Info him less than a 5% chance of being confirmed.
The Dems think he is a conspiracy theorist nut job, and the old school GOP as aren't going to confirm a democrat named Kennedy.
So that leaves only the maga faithful. Less than half the GOP Senate currently. He needs at least 50 votes for Vance to be the tie breaker.
Literally nobody should be advocating against big pharma being allowed to advertise. It is absolutely their money, and they have the freedom of speech, association, and right to contract without government interference.
You can hate their products or whatever, fine. But do not join the socialist and communists on infringing ones rights.
Bad take Marty, bad take!
What about it?
They can't lie to you, thats fraud. Malpractice law exists. If that's what you mean?
But elsewhere in life, stores get a kick back to sell Pepsi up front, or bud light near the isle, etc...
Bartenders and waiters get told to push things, etc .
I don't have a problem with that in the slightest
However in most all cases, drug makers have the initial patent, there aren't multiple d rugs of the same type being offered at the same time.
The question isn't about money, but medicine. If there was 2 drugs, both similar and recommended by the doctor, but one gave the doc a kickback, so be it.
You either trust your doctor or you don't. He either prescribed something to fix the ailment or not. Getting a kickback doesn't change the equation.
Now you are completely straying from the topic of speech and advertising. I am not interested in debating the above, this is a post about freedom of ANY business to advertise. Nothing more, nothing less
Have a great day.
I don't want any tax dollars going to pharma, or any industry at all, period. Advertising or not. But do you really believe that if advertising was banned unconstitutionally like Marty is advocating for that they would stop getting public money??? Haha, yeah right.
Please explain. How is it good to violate the constitution, and a private company's right to market it products?
I am absolutely blown away that there are people on NOSTR who are now advocating for government to silence people who they don't like.
This shit is madness.
I believe big tobacco should be able to advertise.
That doesn't mean they can commit fraud however.
But movie product placement, ads, ads with smokers being cool and hip, etc... should absolutely be allowed.
I agree with your list. However I don't agree in having an FDA at all. I don't believe the federal government has the authority to regulate drug makers, big pharma, etc... They were never granted that authority in the constitution.
If people want to amend the constitution to include that, then sure, I'm game. But as of 2024, they are not authorized to do so.
There is not tangled or corrupted about it.
You are a statist. That's fine, you are entitled to your beliefs. But don't call yourself anything but. You want the government to silence people you don't like. In your case it is incredibly disgusting as you apparently want to silence pharma and use the government to put the media out of business.
I believe it's disgusting, tyrannical, and you are no better than progressives who want to ban hate speech.
On your silly example, how do you define 'pedo'? What does that even mean for ad space? A dating app? A lewd commercial? Soliciting sex? Someone buying an ad saying they want to have sex with a 10 year old?
This would likely be covered as obscene material as define by the supreme Court in multiple cases now, vs free speech rights and possibly a crime in the state. States may very make such rules, as granted in the 10th amendment. Limits? Sure, but very lenient.
What about a 16 year old? That's legal consent in the majority of the states. In my state it's 18.
Hence why your example doesn't work at the federal level, and they have no such authority anyways.
Plus, no reasonable media company big or small would take such an ad and become party to a potential crime. Certainly not a mainstream one.
