Today's #jazz jam.
I could basically listen to this on repeat back-to-back with Kind of Blue all day. Maybe throw in some Chet Baker to mix it up. So good. 👍
What's interesting about this release on Green Corner is that the stereo and mono versions are *not* different mixes: the session was simultaneously recorded in mono and stereo with two different mic setups!

The Gamma that arrived from D-Central this week shipped with new software and it's pretty slick! I like the finer control over clock/voltage settings, too!
And yet there are more horses in the US now than there were when Henry Ford was still making cars.
Mostly not on the road, true. But interesting to contemplate all the same.
Remember, kids: whether or not your favorite candidates won last night, it's all statist bullshit and you should be doing the same thing today you were doing yesterday: being humble and stacking sats.
Speaking of which, let me know if you're ever going to be near Carlisle on a Saturday afternoon. I'm in town almost every Saturday night to dance/teach/DJ at the Green Door. Hamilton's Restaurant always a great place to grab a salad or a hotchee dog. 🌭
Holding out hope that 1 in 100 scenario means Chase Oliver, but the funniest outcome would be if RFK Jr. got electoral votes in the states where he tried to get off the ballot and then he somehow wound up President. 😂
Not a reader, but an interesting place to add support might be Zotero. (It does already support RSS.)
No idea how receptive the project would be, but it is open source.
After I was diagnosed with diabetes, I started noticing that CVS had a giant candy display right at the counter where I'd pick up my prescriptions.
I switched pharmacies.
Nice! Any idea if it supports exportting from Markdown to PDF etc. from within the app? That part of StackEdit seems to have stopped working recently and I need a replacement for quickly drafting stuff on the go.
God himself could resurrect Moses and give him stone tablets with the whitepaper outlining the perfect cryptocurrency and still degens would find a way to shitcoin with it and corporate shills would claim it's a great new "blockchain" technology.

This is awesome, even though the network at my day job blocks Tor. But my *personal* pain point with Amethyst right now is the way it leaves another window open after playing media. Cost me $40+ in data charges recently because I didn't catch it and it sat there playing a video on repeat… 😭
Might have been a stream. Don't remember exactly what it was. Definitely was from Amethyst, though.
It's not clear to me why Amethyst spawns that separate window in the first place, or why it's so friggin hard to kill. Or why it keeps playing like a zombie even when Amethyst is backgrounded.
Just don't tell me your name is "Jim" and expect me to remember that your pronoun is "she". You're lucky if I can remember your name, never
mind another datum.
One great sci-fi author who publishes that way and might get lost in the noise is Greg Egan. He's probably in my top 5 living sci-fi authors, but everything is, like, $4.99 Kindle releases.
