Okay, got the first full #Bible preformatted in Asciidoc, ready for the #Alexandria parser. 🙏🏼

Each verse is going to be a separate zettel event, so we'll be able to embedded individual Bible verses in other notes. 🥳

The indexes over each verse will be chapters and chapters will be grouped into books. Once all of the books are events, I'll be pulling them into more indexes, for example Gospel:NewTestament:Bible, so that there's a hierarchical ToC with 4 levels.
 👀

Would be great if highlight-able too!
 Yes, that's definitely planned. 👍🏼

30041s will be highlightable and 30040s will be receiving Kind 1111 comments.
 What are: 30040, 30041, 1111 kinds?

Will the above structure you are working on apply to all e-books?
30040 is an index, that contains an ordered list of 30040 and 30041 events, and 30041 is a zettel, that contains the actual content.
We're planning on the KJV as the next one, and then the Lutherbibel (in German).

Which (out of copyright) Bible editions would you recommend?
Good question! I’m sure there’s some Septuagint translations like maybe Brenton’s isn’t copyright protected but the first one that comes to mind is NET/WEBUS because they def don’t have copyright protection and have a lot of interesting footnotes too
 Interesting. Hadn't seen those before.
which translation is this? I'm a KJV maxi.
How did you type Hebrew and Greek in ASCII? ;)
