I don’t know If you know it or not but X is a whole lot better than Nostr to protect the freedom of speech in PRACTICAL TERMS. So why would I delete the account. Doesn’t make any sense.
Yes, reaching people is far easier on Twitter, so far. The inadvertent result of the "Nostr only" mentality is the silencing of all dissent on large public forums. Nostr is good as an alternative but having multiple channels of communication is ideal.

That is a pure waste of time .. because if you did that , next thing you will do is to delete all your unused email accounts .. then the unused spam emails in the ones that you use .. Fixing the past is a never ending struggle .. one should never try to change the history once couple of blocks are cast :-) just move on ..
When I switched to nostr the first thing I did was delete my Twitter account. Haven’t looked back. I’m not sure how everything works here, I’m a Gen X musician with no coding skills, but the spirit behind everyone here feels right. I feel like we’re all on the frontlines of the biggest war against humanity and all I can do is bang on a drum. 🥁

I wouldn't delete any social media accounts since you would be cutting yourself off from an audience that isn't aware of or unwilling to move to a different platform. It's good to have multiple ways to communicate with people. However, I will be the first to say that X has become the most anti-free speech and censored platform out of the big 3 with Elon Musk at the helm actively using algorithms that score peoples content based purely on his own perspective making it hard for people to be seen by their followers unless their posts align with what Elon wants.
