I haven't smoked in 60 hours but I am about to snap please talk me out of going to the store and buying a pack 😭😅
Go for a long walk (not in the direction of the shop). It won't help but that's what I used to do. I ended up swapping out the addiction for vape. Not recommended. Horrible feeling tho for sure.
You know what kind of did help. I had this chart of days, weeks, months and this approximation of how your body/lungs will be healing, the duration of withdrawal and whatever else. It was something to fixate on. The healing process and not wanting to interrupt it. I did actually quite for a fair a few months. 🤞
If you're gonna smoke, at least smoke some weed instead of those other cancer sticks
I quit cold turkey 25 years ago
Buy some bitcoin with what you would have spent on the smokes. If that doesn’t do it, buy twice as much. If you still give in, buy the same amount but in shitcoins.
I used to pretend smoke. For me it was the hand to mouth motion. If I closed my eyes I could imagine actual smoke coming out. Good luck!
this is one of the reasons vaping works, it allows you to slowly withdraw from it while still offering that hand to mouth action you are craving. 9 times out of 10, that was usually what drove me back to cigarettes. Getting over the nicotine isn’t too hard, it’s replacing an action you have repeated millions of times over the course of years.
When you buy cigarettes, half the money goes to the government.
That got me
Haha
Speaking from experience, first 72 hrs are the worst. Go for a run, or do something physical that'll give you the dopamine hit you're body is craving.
Question: why stop? I mean what is your motivation for stopping? If that motivation isn't strong then you will always have this moment of wanting to go back. Find a strong motivation to keep you off it. ☺️🫂
stopping smoking and curbing sugar addiction was wildly similar to me. curious if anyone else noticed the same...
sugar for me! 😔 I tried to eliminate completely carbs, sugar and dairy from my diet. I was trying it to do process of elimination which break my skin. I went to the extreme and my body did not like it. So I am working to balance it out now. My motivation to remove refine sugar has defo helped me get through tough time of cravings. 💯👌
If you *really* want to quit, it's because there's something about the experience you don't enjoy. When you're having cravings, you're only thinking about what's pleasurable Instead, try to focus on what you *don't* like about it.
A strong mind
You know you want that dirty little nicotine dick in your mouth. Breath in that yummy tobacco cum.
Reminds me of this https://youtu.be/i8QKckrDVFQ?feature=shared
Every craving passes eventually no matter how uncomfortable. At first you think about it all the time.... then little by little, you'll think about it less, until you don't think about it at all. Listen to yourself and how often you think about it. Breathe. Just breathe.
Dun dum suckers worked wonders for me to get that oral fixation 🫂💜🫡
Dude have you seen what Bitcoin's doing right now? Put the money you'd spend on the pack into BTC, have a wank while looking at the chart, take a few deep breaths, and go about your day. Either it'll work, or at least in a month you can buy 4 packs with the same money.
Joking about that, a little, mostly because I'm not in the habit of giving investment advice. What I am in favor of doing, however, is using procrastination for good. Trying to find a good reason not to make a bad decision? STOP! Just decide you'll make that bad decision tomorrow, or later sometime. If it's anything like my homework in school, it'll never get done, and you can stop freaking out about whether or not you're going to do it.

I’ve just done 4 weeks no booze and it feels so much better. You can do it. Smoking is just not worth it. You’ll feel f’ing amazing once you allow yourself to move on from that 🤙🔥🫂
