It's is an example of Sufi music from Senegal. It is NOT toe tapping music but meant for quiet contemplation and prayer. @25664448@8b089599 Will do. The festival normally takes place in June. This year was already off schedule because of construction at the main concert site. I am hoping they will go back to the June schedule in the spring. The festival site itself wasn't impacted but because it is spiritual music, they said it didn't feel right to go forward. If I hear anything further I will post it. Was REALLY looking forward to Sufi music night...

Well...after 6 years of planning and saving, my trip to the Fes Festivale Musiques Sacre du Monde in Fes, Morocco was cancelled in sympathy with the earthquake victims. Was supposed to leave today 😧 . I totally get why they cancelled and my heart goes out to the Moroccan people who are suffering. But...I am sad. Hope my health stays strong so I can try again next year.

But.. I can't take the google stuff much longer and their G-Suite fees seem high to me, although I was stuck with it since I have two other people who have to be able to log in to our podcast account.

@31e7b085@3967703f Sentencing date isn't really too out of line. The presentence report would take 30 days and defense counsel has a right to respond. That would take us to mid Nov anyway. And given Mehta's calendar disruptions already...it's really not extreme. Would we all like it to be faster? Yes...but the due process thing gets in the way.
@196cec84 Check and see if there is a health ins co-op near you for self-employed folks. They aren't really advertised but some small nonprofits keep their people insured through that type of arrangement.
