Of note: "Bannon, found guilty in the same courthouse in July 2022 after 2½ hours of jury deliberations, was sentenced to four months in prison. He remains free pending the outcome of his appeal. Judge Amit P. Mehta set Navarro’s sentencing for Jan. 12."

So, still no actual punishment on Bannon. And sentencing for Navarro isn't until next year? Wow.

 @31e7b085 @3967703f Sentencing date isn't really too out of line. The presentence report would take 30 days and defense counsel has a right to respond.  That would take us to mid Nov anyway. And given Mehta's calendar disruptions already...it's really not extreme. Would we all like it to be faster? Yes...but the due process thing gets in the way.
