Bitcoiners are not the wealthy elite just yet.. plus there is old money and their personal connections to contend with. I don’t think this transition is going to peaceful when push comes to shove. I hope I’m wrong. I wasn’t trying to be defeatist, it’s more prepare for violence from the state… it a natural reaction when their power is threatened
Idk if you noticed but blackrock a financial hit man for the state is pushing bitcoin. We are winning.
Kinda of a double edged sword isn’t it? Sure it “legitimizes” Bitcoin in the eyes of normies but doesn’t introduce more regulatory risk to Bitcoin? My view of Bitcoin is a tool to be used outside of state control not to be co-opted by the state because it normally doesn’t end well. Just my two sats
I think that perspective is unfortunately incorrect. I used to think the same way and then I realized that there is no way we can possibly escape the state. That said it’s an open question whether we are co-opted or they co-opt us. We have to play it out to see.
Curious to see how all this pans out over the next 10-20 years…
technology and culture are upstream of law, politics, and state

states only evolve according to what physics and culture dictates. it'll evolve around bitcoin as well
